My new to me Steroided 392!!
Well this is my new to me Steroid 392 with Williams Peep. Very nice gun. Clean, nice wood, ACCURATE and when pumped to 13 this thing really thumps the target!!!
I shot these groups at 18 yards off hand. I dont have a battery in my chrony now but will do some Strings sometime this week
All I have to say is Tim does GREAT work, And all the woodchucks, starlings and Squirrels better watch out now!!!

I’ve been toying with the idea of purchasing the 392ACP. You pre-charge it with 8 pumps. When you shoot you only use 3 pumps of air. You can shoot again without charging for a lower power power shot or pump 3 and have its full power again.
Its tuned to conserve air – so it’s meant to be as quiet as a springer. I think it’s full power is 14-15ft/lbs.

Really loud as the condor? Darn! I want one of these 🙂 I’d imagine 700-800 fps range with 14 grain pellets?

at 14 pumps i am spitting Eunjins at 648 FPS thats the 28 grainers
and they are accurate too
I can knock down the gamo squirrel at 30 yards off hand
I love the Peep and also on 3-5 pumps this thing is a starling hammer
using polymags it thumps them no problem out to 25 yards
and is quiet enough I can take a shot or 2 without bothing anyone in the neighborhood
Perfect for my use as a pest eliminator anyways
now i can also plink with it at 2-3 pumps pretty quiet also
I havent done any long range testing yet but i know at 30 yards this thing with polymags, eunjins, kodiaks, JSB monsters is very accurate
My peep on an IZH-46M is dime accurate at 15 yards – no rest. Peeps are amazing.
How loud is it? Compared to a shrouded airgun.
What is the effective accuracy range with the peep? I’ve never used one.
nice crow! I got’s me one of those! It’s a monster. I have been shooting 18.1gr JSB’s at 8 pumps. She groups well with preds too. I have the peep sight on mine. I love it. How ever a scope would make the 392 a real hunter no prob.
but I know what he is thinking…… Fuck this old Pump Gun!!!! That other gun is way less work and easier to shoot…

My daughter is way to smart for 6. I’ve had her shooting since she could squeez a trigger.
Her RR is so hard to cock and twice as hard to squeez the trigger.
She told me dad if you get me a gun with a easy triger like yours .

The one I have shoots Beeman FTS, Crow Magnums, and RWS Meisterkugelns very well but it gets tiring if you’re doing high volume shooting. 🙂
I have an old Benji 342 .22 and a old Sheridan Blue Streak. Neither are steroided, but both are pretty respectable and have taken their share of rodents and blackbirds.
I used to let my 11 yr old kid shoot the Blue Streak, but after I let him shoot my Talon SS, He doesn’t say it, but I know what he is thinking…… Fuck this old Pump Gun!!!! That other gun is way less work and easier to shoot.
I remember saving up $115 to buy that 342. and it was light years ahead of any of the old 760’s, 880’s I had before. But then again I never had a PCP to compare it too 😯
