Here is a gun I had custom made for me by Roy Weid of Mountain Air. It’s the last full length 2260 HPA tube he made and I had him pair it to a .25 Lothar barrel. It has a power adjuster, but at full power, it shoots a 42g Eun Jin consistently for at least 12 shots at 750 fps. EXTREMELY accurate with Beeman Extra Heavy Kodiak Match pellets.

Also, I have an extra set of for sale if anyone is interested. PM me for price and shipping. They’re made for a 2250, but can be used to modify a 2240 if you get a longer tube.

Here’s a few that I’ve built in the past couple of years. I love the 22XX platform. It’s so user friendly and easy to modify that it just begs to be experimented with.

.22 shooting around 600 fps.

The top 2 are bulked with max flow valves that have been ported, polished and heavier hammer springs. They both shoot between 725 & 750 fps. The bottom one has a MaxZ bulk adapter and almost silently shoots 650 fps. The stock on the top one was made by Steve Corcoran.

The wabbit killer

This last one is a custom 9mm that I built myself. I had it shooting a 77g Eun Jin at 550 fps for 2 shots on HPA with a fill pressure of 1300 psi.

I have been talking about modying mine for years. I have a bone stock .22. Where do you get the longer barrels and the modified valves?
I want mine to be able to whack squirrels at very close feeder range!

Got the muzzy on, cut off a couple inches, turned the power adj. full throttle and was shootin 630-640’s of course though, it was 90 degrees, I adj. it down about 30fps. going to try out a shot string tomarrow and work on sighting in again.

I found the link Ninja.

[size=14]Looks like a set of RB Grips. Mine are also from RB, but are Cocobolo and not a laminate.

Thats what I hoped for at first, but RB doesn’t have Grey in his “camo” laminate – he’s two color only.

Thanks Maw – I saw those and I’d need a 2250 foregrip too, end up being around doubl what I paid for the gun, lol

Thanks for the extra photo… photo.

I little lighter hammer or lighter hammer spring will get more consistency at little loss in power.

16gr Exacts, 14″ barrel, power setting at lowest adjustment, ~75 degrees. It has a 2300S spring and a lighter hammer. Also, with CO2 you get better numbers if you give about 1 minute between shots for the temp to stabilize.

It looks to me that when I get the power adj. I’ll just set it at 600fps. I don’t want to confuse people with high numbers here, it gets really warm here and the other day it was 5 degrees warmer, and the shots at 638 and 7 were on the beginning end, shots 3 and 4

Gunby, it is just a regular valve ported and polished. Brent Hite made this gun and is on Yellow under Polomax. Yellow Ninja, Steve Corcoran is putting out some nice grips on Yellow, Kinda pricey though $135.00, nice look, like target grips, and good color.

Looks like a set of RB Grips. Mine are also from RB, but are Cocobolo and not a laminate.

Hey maw,

What valve are you running in that 14″ 2240 of yours? That’s some pretty good fps you’re getting.

Gunby

Nice looking Crosmans guys. Here’s my 2240.

Maw, good choice on the Muzzle Mac wire stock. Excellent quality and a great guy to deal with.

Mine has one but without a power adjuster. I didn’t know they came that way. I’ll have to check it out.

I’m changing the Crooked Barn breach out for an RJ and have a new scope on the way. I’m running a Boss 12 gram valve and getting an average 540 fps with the 12″ barrel and Crosman Premiers 14.3 grainers.
