My new toy
I got the 8 in. barrel off of Yellow and it shoots the Crosman wadcutters at 470-480fps. fun gun, I painted the barrel to match the gun, barrel was silver.v

They have the old Smith & Wesson looking 38’s in a .22 wonderred on the velocity they have and really thought about one, whenever I seen them on the Yellow forum, the place you are talking about are they on the web? Oh yes they are did a search already.
I am really fond of my Crosman 357.
Very fun to shoot, accurate. I love the 10 shot cartridges and I typically get just about 45 shots per CO2 cartrldges.
i’m fitting a red-dot sight to it as soon as I get a 30mm/.22 mount for it… (hard to find locally). My eyesight at 53 makes it a challenge to see the front and rear sights at the same time good enough to aim well.
Mine came as a 6″.
If anyone wants one for a great price, Scheels Sporting Goods has them in the store for $39.00!!! Normal price!!! (maybe I need a 2nd one…) 😆 😆
I might just have to keep my eyes open for an 8″ barrel for it too. Might shoot even better/faster. (???)
Would be nice to have it in .22 caliber I would think, perhaps if it could still get the same velocity but with a lower shot count.

Did you know that low powered reading glasses can get most of us old folks back to shooting iron sights?
Remember that you have to blur the target even with young eyes to proberly sight with a handguns iron sights, you of course, and I know you know this, have to keep the front and the rear sight sharp and because the human eye/brain combo can’t see three things sharp you actually blur the target to do it properly.
Old Coppers used to talk about haw close they came to dropping the hammer by stating, ” I had started to blur him out.”
Well a 1.5 prescription reading glass will do this for most of us for about 13 bucks.
