Words of wisdom .Grab the new spring and ..Go for it. Lol
Yeah there are way too many guys trying to hot rod guns and almost always they just ruin what made it special in the first place ..Given the choice between lower power or higher power springs …I’d pick low power EVERY TIME !! If you truly ” need ” more power …Grab a 22 Mag Rimfire …That’ll do it 🙂
Hi Joe, I have not went through all your tune videos on the 300’s yet. But I recently Acquired a 124 at a local gun show.
It was represented as being healthy, well it ain’t. !!!!!!!
Never been in a springer, but just got a spring compressor. So I have a few things to learn.
Not sure if I will replace the spring right off the bat, the gun showed very little wear and use.
I also am not a power monger, if I need power I have a TX200 or the Muntant shorty, or the Kricket.
If you have any words of wisdom please speak them.
P.S. We spoke for just a min. At the Arlington air gun show back in Augest.
No Mike , I’m just gonna stick with the FWB 300 rifles for now . That along with refinishing stocks is keeping me busy ! I’m doing 4 of the Barnwood finish stocks this week . It’s a nice alternative to regular beech
