Sweet!!! 😀

Mike

I had it on pre-order. They claim A 300 meter throw, I really think it can do it.

This picture is from 20 yards.

Now this pic does not do justice to the brightness but you can clearly see it is lighting inside the garage and the beam is only between the windows not directly pointed at them.

How is the throw! Waht Bulb? Batteries?Run time. Lumens? Inquiring minds want ot know!

Man, it sure took long enough to get it!

Nice looking. What is the final cost on them?

I got the new R-2 bulb int he C-2 Surefire. WooHoo!!! It’s killer on Ferrel C’s, and Rabbits!

Mike

It came. It came. It finally came.

I got my Fenix TK-40 in the mail today (See first post)
It came in an inexpensive plastic case.
Build quality is Great.
I did have to take it apart to get the light to turn on. the switch contacts had some kind of residue that was easily removed with my shirt.
It kinda reminds me of a light saber in shape.

2 meter beam shot

Gun light 😆

i needa stop looking before i get broke! 😆

Thanks LMTss! I’ll be looking forward to your review.
I have a Sure Fire C-2 on the Talon right now. I just ordered a Cree D-26 LED R-2 bulb for it. But I screw up and ordered the cold color. 🙁

I have a M-3 That I wish I could find a hot LED set up for. There’s got to be one.

I love my Fenix T-1. The build quality is a little better than the olight. But they are both very good. It has good throw. Just not up to the olight. T-1 on turbo is about the same as the olight on med. but much bluer. it’s my in car light now.

I am wondering how the throw is going to be on the TK-40!

Wish I could pick up a Spear!

My buddy that has the private range gave me the Fenix. Very good of him. Heading down to his place for a SMG and Suppressor shoot next month!!! WooHoo!!! Nothing like Suppressed Full Auto!!! 😈

quote WalkonKing:

LMTSS sent me a fenix and I fell in love with it. If it gets lost I would replace it with its equal in a minute.

Any Idea what type of batteries they get their run times from. Standard, Ni-cad, Alki?

Good looking light. I am also wondering how much blue hue will be in the beam. The new Olight I picked up a couple of months ago has very little blue in it. It actually an almost incandescent quality to it.

I don’t know yet, but I could let you know.

My last was a Surefire E2D… but I didnt pay for it 😆

I have several nice lights I enjoy. Quite a few sure fires. My latest is an Olight M-20 warrior. 225 lum’s, with very good throw. Even better, it has a much less blue hue to it than my Q lights. You can see a rabbits fur at 100 yards very well with it at near true color.

Bonus, It can use rechargeable’s without damage. 😀

Found some really nice lights at http://www.hellfighterlights.com

I started my dad off on the Ultrafire 502s. Previously he would carry around large flashlights while working and it made things difficult. He can’t go without a really small, bright flashlight now. They do get lost and damaged so Ultrafire was the way to go.

I’ve got a L0D-CE Q4 on my keychain for EDC. I run it on a 10440 so on high it is a lot brighter than a big Mag-lite anyway.

For gun mounting I have a Fenix TK11 R2. Of course you know it throws well enough for shooting critters in the night.

At some point I may find a ‘cheaper’ HID spotlight for throwing a few hundred yards.

So here is a list of the Flashlights I own.

Fenix TK11 R2
RaidFire Spear
Ultrafire WF 500
ZebraLight H60
Nite Ize Upgraded MINI MAGLITE
2 Stanley Maxlite tripods
And Coming soon.
Another Fenix P3D
And of course a
Fenix TK40
