Modifications done include removal of worthless factory sights, full trigger job ( from 7lbs to 1.5lbs), target crown on barrel, full interior frame polish, muzzle brake, holographic sight with 2 color, 4 reticle, slip free textured coating on stock and barrel droop repair.
Not a real powerhouse but fun to shoot!

Otherwise, in case of SHTF and I run out of air power, I could always use it to piss off someone. Besides it’s heavy enough to pound nails and at $75 it cost far less than a gov’ toilet seat. :rofl:

If it were a polish pistol I’d leave it where a thief would steel it thinking it was worth something.

Had that gun, and within two days gave it to someone I did not like !
I had custom sight and bla bla bla. I used it for digging holes in my lawn one day as it shot so low.
IMHO, the person that designed that gun should be doing jail time for wasting the earths materials.

I saw this thing at WM and was curious about the nitro piston and never had a break barrel before. It sure does need a trigger job ❗

That’s a sweet collection you have there. I had a 1377 that I built up with a bunch of AC Customs parts ( flat top piston, shoulder stock and 16″ barrel. Also had some pretty nice woods on it. I got tired of pumping so I sold it to my neighbor for his Nephew to shoot. Also had a Custom Shop 2240. Nothing like your rigs though.

My stable has them both lol. What I like about crosman o2 based guns is the interchangeability of parts.
Thanks! Crosman/Benjamin do make some pretty good guns. That’s why I saw the potential in it. The reviews on these guns ( straight out of the box) are terrible. Trigger and sights! Please don’t get me wrong! I’d never aim this thing at a living creature. It only makes about 8 ft/lbs of energy.

I picked mine up at a pawn shop. Looked brand new still in the box didn’t take long to see why it was there lol. Yep 10 ft was about where I took my first shot completely missed a 12″x12″ target. I was flabbergasted had to set down and remember if I put a pellet in it. Even put a bsa pistol scope on it could not adjust it enough to the right the scope wouldn’t adjust any further. Only air gun I totally gave up on. Yours looks good now wildfire happy plinking.
BTW! It’s kind of okay for me to call my piece of shit a piece of shit but I would never reply to another members thread and put down their gun!
I’m sorry you had to throw your Trail NP pistol in the scrap pile. Mine was very easily transformed into something that is fun to shoot. Sometimes it’s best to say nada!

It really was a piece of shit Walmart special when I got it. Christmas “toy” from my wife. I did see potential in it though. What was Crosman thinking when they designed this thing. 7 pound trigger and sights that can’t adjust enough to put a round on paper at 10 feet.
They did design a barrel droop adjustment into the gun. Why they let them leave the factory without being adjusted is anyone’s guess?
I only use it for plinking, cans, paper targets etc. groups pretty good at 15 yards with wad cutter pellets. Trigger is pretty sweet now.
What blew my mind was the lack of ANY crown on the barrel. A little “tweaking” has made it a fun toy. It would have broken my wife’s heart if I didn’t shoot it!

I bought one of those, it now resides at the metal scrape recyclers. Worst airgun I ever owned. I was better off throwing the loaded gun at the target and hitting it. Then using the gun to shoot it. Sure hope you have better luck lol.

I was thinking of getting a holster for it but it’s to heavy and I have an old dog leash to hook to it and just drag it along behind. i’ll get my 75 dollars worth by poking fun at it. :whistle:
