Q:

My Talon … getting there.

A work in progress and I am quite happy with it. It’s a standard Talon with the 18″ barrel in .177. It is shooting CPH’s at 1089 fps with the Condor bottle and hammer dialed back a bit.

Scope is a Weaver V16 with a fine cross hair duplex reticle … it is quite bright and clear.

Frame extension is a Tony Talon Tunes special that really puts the muffler to it’s bark … and of course no Talon is complete without a WOK to make it shoulder properly.

She is shooting 1/4 inch groups at 40 yards when I do my part. On order is a trigger shoe from Tony as well as an 18″ .25 caliber barrel.

My bandsaw just arrived so I am working on the custom wood furniture to finish her off right. Gotta love these guns ! 😀

You can order them from several sources … I just called Bauer direct and got mine 🙂

Thanks Guy’s ! That compressor is worth it’s weight in gold I think … and that’s about what it cost 😆 😆 😆

Sweet Talon rig and even sweeter compressor 😀

nice setup there. Look forward to seeing it with proper furniture (woodwork). Gotta love a compressor. 😀

No pumping for me … or trips to the scuba shop. My new Bauer JRII does a great job of feeding my Talon 😀

The Condor bottle and hammer really woke this gun up. With the power wheel on 8 she was chucking 10.50 grain CPH’s at 1130 so I dialed it back to 4-5 and now they are accurately cooking along at 1089 fps.

At that speed the .177 is wicked on small critters 😆

Scope has optional Weaver pop open scope covers that are real nice.
