My Talon is supposed to come today and i need help!
what should i turn the power wheel to if i want full power, and what should i turn the wheel to if i want accuracy? Also, what is the thing beside the knob, does it lock the knob or something? BTW i don’t have a chrony. All answers are greatly appreciated. π π

You will never have a preset number for the Power Wheel. π₯
As King put up the innovative way of finding the right setting
without a chrony.
I would strongly suggest you buy a chrony…It will make your life
a lot-lot-lot easier. π
Watch out you donβt knock the chrony out before getting your readings
The C-T-C from scope to barrel would be roughly. about 3″…So watch out π―
Small Tip :- How to prevent wasting excess air.
This is my personal experience and may vary
for person to person’s judgment.
Lets say you did King’s test and and are very close to finnalizing your
Power Wheel numbers. Assuming you are doing this test from a rifle rest .
Watch out for the air the talon spits behind the pellet. If you see a large gush
and lets say your number on the Main of the Power wheel is 4 and the sub is 16.
(To see the gush donβt shoulder mount your gun, just point to some place safe and shoot)
Then reduce the sub number to 12 and fire once again…..if its still not come down.
further reduce sub to 8 and now lets say you find it it to be less. The re-do the wood test
as written by King and if the penetration is what you had started with. Then you are very close to what you would have achieved with a chrony.
I have used the above method for both my Talon/Condor and with great results.
