796.3 average,22.5 fpe, about 375psi of air, which would be 35psi per shot. I was not impressed with my shooting I’m thinking the bushings maybe loose or these 177 E.J.’s are junky

I run my .22 SS at 20 fpe, 16 grain JSBs at 750 fps. This is about four on the preload IIRC. I think the tophat is about .074. I fill to 2800 psi and expect 50 shots or so per fill.
Although it’s been a while since I’ve done it, putting a 24 inch barrel delivered about 30 fpe with the same settings.

I think this is where I am going wrong, .177 kodiaks are at 10.6 thats a hell of alot lighter than 16.

The last one recorded would be at the 2600psi, 177 are little pussys compared to the 22, in the 12 in barrel as far as I can tell.

I’ll chrony my ss 12″ .22 Sun., and let you know what I come up with.
Try doing a 2600 fill and see what ya get, wouldn’t be surprised if you have more fps, now I am no expert, but one time on a 3000 fill the hammer was not enough to take full advantage of the valve.
Semi- valve lock, maybe some other guys could chime in and tell us.
I personally think you could easily get up in the 900+ range.

I think my .22 12″ ss does that with kodiaks, been a while since I chrony-ed it.

If I am remembering correctly 10.6 kodiaks will go around 900 and alittle bit better in .177 with the 12″ barrel. Yep I am sure they will do 900 -my SS with the 18″ .177 shoots 10.6 Kodiaks at 920-960. Maxed out 1060- pw at 11 from 3k psi fill. I like .177cal 😳
