My TSS Trigger Sucks!
This is a copy of a PM that I sent to Cygnus X. As I was writing it, I thought that more and different experiences from those of you who have solved this problem might benefit myself and others who are new, or just haven’t taken the plunge.
Hi Cygnus X,
I was doing a comparison of my TSS and my friends S 410. The S 410 put 5 Kodiaks in one hole. The TSS didn’t do so well…5 in the size of a nickle…at 17 yards. What I noticed was a definite difference in the triggers. The TSS being not so good. I read the post about installing the two screws…first stage and over travel. Is that all that is required to improve the trigger? Somehow it makes sense that there are parts that should be polished or something. What do you think?

Who here would do the trigger mod as well as turn an o-ring into my breech for me (slap mod)? PM me please.

The trigger mod is a huge improvement in my gun and I did not polish anything.
I have it set up for just a tad of pre travel and no over travel. It is a nice hunting trigger and everyone should get it done if they are unhappy with their trigger on the AF guns.
probably won’t ever match an AA410 trigger with an AF gun, but the trigger mod (set screws & polishing/stoning the sear surfaces) makes a HUGE difference in shootability.
