Q:

Need a little help please

Hi All,
New to forum and to Cricket..
I have a question that I am sure you have answered several times but I just cant seem to find the answer..

I just purchased the .25 Tactical model. Very Excited.. it arrives on This Tuesday.

I am worried about 1 thing though.. I have seen several people on the web stating..

” The filling probe is very short and when you use it on a Fosters quick connector
male to connect to the female on the filling station, you cannot fill the rifle.
The fill probe nut is so tiny that a standard foster coupling gasket will not seal.
The spring loaded ring that covers the filling hole to keeps dust out
does not leave a large enough gap to get the filling probe and male connector in”

Has this been remedied? A way around it?

I also ordered a new Omega tank with Foster fittings etc so I wouldn’t have to use my Hand Pump anymore… Do I need to buy something else??

Thank you very much for any help on this topic.

Thanks again !

Thank you for the help… its been bugging me a bunch, Just want it all to go smooth she get here. I think ill get it more when I actually have the gun/fittings and tank in front of me.. and am able to see the items your referring to..
I have never used, nor seen a foster set up used before..

Would you mind sending me a couple pics of your set up.. I am a tad OCD, and I just want to make sure I do it properly, in a way that keeps the gun unscathed..
You have a system that works so I know Im safe if I just do the exact same thing..

if its a pain, no worries.. Just thought I would give it a shot =) Thank you for the help either way. it is very much appreciated.

Congrats on a nice setup, a few wraps of Teflon tape on the threads fixes the issue of the gasket that’s not needed, there is no issue with the fill probe not fitting correctly ? all you have to do is make sure the flats of the fill probe nut are parallel to the flats of the sliding cover and and the air tube end. I covered the nut on the fill probe with heat shrink so it doesn’t mark anything.
