Need a short stubby replacement for an E-TaC Reg
The E-TaC Reg ( http://www.kyhistoricsalvage.com/etacreg1.html ) is a great piece, BUT I need something that can use my original Condor tank and is as short and stubby as possible to keep the trigger pull length down, air flow into a 24 inch barrel and be just simply a straight adapter (lower cost).
Based on the fact that the E-TaC Reg seems to have the proper volume, so as to not rely too much on the regulator (restriction) air flow during firing, I would think that a slightly larger diameter and shorter length would work just fine.
I believe the overall length of the E-TaC Reg and Regulator is about 3 1/2 inches. If that can be shorten to ~2 inches, that would be great.
Any machinist up to the design and fabricate challenge ?

Just wait until you get your gun so you can see what you are working with. I trimmed my frame as much as you can without butchering it so I can make something different. It will maybe be a 1/4″ shorter but it will solve the reg volume problem for higher fps on smaller psi reg.
