Need advice Ed Gun R3M Any problems?
Have there been any problems with the new R3Ms any indexing problems ,Is the gun pretty much the same gun compared to the R3s?
Do the newer guns have the more efficient valve ?
Looking at purschasing 22. cal , How hard is the cocking effort/indexing?
Looking for pros/cons .

The lever on the left is to switch it from manual indexing and auto. It doesn’t seem to get in the way what so ever for me. You can de-cock the gun like you said by holding the bolt back and pulling the trigger. Then slowly move the bolt back in.
What is on the left side of gun, the decocker? I know how to decock a gun but, please explain how this decocker works.(does it get in the way sometimes) Can you just hold bolt back and pull trigger to decock?
Cocking is pleasent on the 22 and a little hard for my taste on the 25, the longer bolt draw stroke makes for a different approach, we used to one hand it with a thumb on the back of the stock, now takes two hands. I had a bit of cycling issue on my 25 but very few saw this and it was fixed quickly by myself, it is a very simple system and it just works. Magazines are very easy in and out of the action but spare mags. are hard to come by until later this year. They have a decoupler and you can also run the bolt and manually rotate the mag separately. I found I liked this for bench shooting as I added pellets as I shoot and never pulled the mag out, worked good but I ultimately traded my R3M breech assy for an R3 since they were going to get rare and the R3M’s were going to be plentyful. Shoot fantastic, I posted 80 yard last night and 100 yard this evening.
