Need Ball Bouncers for Breech experiment
Need Ball Bouncers for Breech experiment
If anyone has or could make any of these balls and bounce them, that would be great. I am trying to determine the elastic factor of these 5 materials:
Steel, Brass, Aluminum, Delrin, Marble (glass)
The experiment needs a solid surface of smooth steel that is very solid (or possibly a smooth concrete floor).
1. Hold a yard stick straight up and hold the ball bottom at the top of the yardstick.
2. Drop the ball and measure the inches where the bottom of the ball bounces back up to.
3. Repeat a couple times for a repeatable reading.
Provide me with the ball diameter and weight in grains.
I’ll compile the numbers for an elastic factor for my simulation.
Thanks
PS: You don’t have to have all the balls, any will do, as others may have more balls.

Hoot,
That would have worked fine for the post menopausal women of my past.
But with this young asian wife and her trying to get that thing unlocked in the middle of the night, well you know it is a dark and loney job but someones has to do it.
