Need help Cricket.22 or Mutant.22
I hope that you can help me ,I saved cash for new Pcp and I am looking on Cricket.22 or.25 for long time and I already made up my mind it will be one of these two,but then came mutant and now i do not know what to di.
I saved about 1500 euro and i can put my hands just on one of them.It would be great if you who have already both of them or just shoot them write what would you do if you can take just one.

on AGN they lie a lot about the Taipan.
They speak out of both sides of their mouth.
The Taipan is a great gun, you would be very happy with it. :biggrinn:
Yes Donny,USA is biiiig and there is comparison between USA and Croatia.
PCP community is very small and I order my guns from Slovenia and CZ because there are no shops in Croatia at all.
But i have to tell I am rather someome who by and keep and do not sell :winkn:
Until today I was always looking west europe pcp producers have already ( weihrauch hw 100 TK,Steyr hunting 5A,Fx bobcat… And some springers) now I want to give chance my east neighbours now.
I hope will have some luck with it.
I asked about help just because I red on AGN some comments that most parts from Mutant are made in China or something like that but if it is i do not car for me your comment and from another shooting mate was enough for my decision.

The thing about this hobby Marko is that even if 100 guys say Mutant and 2 guys say Cricket, you’re still going to want to try that Cricket yourself 🙂 I was in your shoe a 2 yrs ago. Even if the Mutant is a hole in one from 100 yds the curiosity will eventually take over and you end up with another gun. The great thing about being over in the US is that we can resell the guns and grab another one very easy. Good luck!
It will be Mutant…and in few month maybe custom stock….Poland is not far away from me 😉
I have all three guns right now, The Cricket 22 and 25 and the Mutant 22 , I sure would hate to have to pick only one gun out of the three,
Worse than pulling nose hairs,,,
The Mutant would get my vote,
I did not think I would ever pick a 22 over a 25 , But the Mutant will make the others collect a little dust sitting up in the gun cabinet,,,
The only way you can go wrong is if you shoot yourself in the foot with the Mutant, :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

Before writing I was about 52% for Mutant and 48 for Cricket now is 55% for Mutant
I am living in Croatia and order from States is little bit complicated,My dealer is in CZ but thanks anyway.
Go with the Mutant. I had the .22 Cricket and the Mutant is by far mechanically better and quieter as well. I think the majority of the forum members on here have had the Cricket and if they purchased a Mutant after, the Cricket no longer gets much use. Hammer slap on the Cricket is pretty loud to me. The mag loading is more complicated then it should be.
Talon Tunes is having an awesome deal on the Mutants if that’s the way you decide to go. As for the Cricket, Georgia Airguns is having a surplus sale as well.
