Need Help

Who can tell me how many cc or ci would be in a 1.75″x2.50″ cylinder at 3000 psi and 3500 psi. Thanks

You would need to give a temperature to find the volume of gas at a given pressure in a cylinder…

This should do the trick.

Conversions for reference.

70 degrees F is 294.2611111 K

1 psi is 51.714932571 torr

1 liter is 61.023744 cubic inches

1 liter is 0.035314666 cubic feet

Thanks. Pressure matters. A 4500 psi 70 ci tank is only around 54 ci at 3500 psi. Making something and need to know how much it holds at those psi.

Volume is calculated as ((Radius x Radius) x Height x Pi )

not sure about the different pressures though…the tank volume is still the same no matter what the pressure is.
