I use moly graph grease on the breech o rings. I use silicone grease also but have found that it is not that great of a lubricant. I have been using 90d viton o rings. Urethane o rings have poor compression set which means they don’t return to specs. So setting on the barrel and breech is probably not the best thing for them. Viton has good compression set and oil resistant.

Thanks

also, the silicone grease that is sold at the auto parts stores for your spark plugs/boots connection is the same stuff and is safe to use.

yea,

you want the white/translucent grease in the plumbing section.

id bet dollars to pot seeds that that green crap is petro based…

I was at Home Depot this week in the plumbing section buying some o-rings and they sell it there. The o-rings all come in bubble packages now, no box where you can just buy a single o-ring anymore. They hang them on a wall with all the other little plumbing gizmos. On the wall with all the other bubble packs they a small flip open container of silicone grease. Same thing I bought at the dive shop but cheaper.

Thanks guys ordered some on eBay

Greases- bad, at least not optimal. Some ive used get gunky/gummy. The pure is white with a consistency kinda like jelly. Dive shops would have it, and maybe industrial supply, i havent run into it in hardware shops, not a mass consumer item.

not too sure if that stuff is safe or not.

dose it say what it’s made of? if there is any chance at all of there being any petroleum based anything in it then don’t use it! high pressure air and greases do not play well!!!

pure silicone grease is what you want, the “divers” silicone is food grade

thank you gtbj the guy at homedepot gave me a small tube of Pneumatic Tool O-Ring Lubricant mad by Stanley is that save to use on the o-rings like the video manual said to he is using Parker Super O Lube in the video which is clear this is green

yes sir, that be the stuff
