Q:

Need help removing valve

I attempted removing the valve from one of my tanks and only accomplished bending bolts, rods and every damned thing I used. I forgot to remove the burst disc and was using the other hole. Then I tried to remove the disc and I can’t get it out. Have I possibly damaged it attempting to remove the collar? I about to loose my patience and screw it up for good.

Any help will be appreciated.

How did you make the Vlave disassembly tool . Very intersting tool there .

Used a Lathe (detailed photo below).

Nice Valve Tool KIT ❗

1st time I can remember seeing BOTH TOOLS NEEDED for working on the valve, together in one KIT 💡

Perfect cheap solution. You only have to be sure that the bolt will hold. But thats the idea.

I made also this other tool to disassemble the valve:

Where did you get the black metal grips on the tank from and how do you secure that while using the VRT .

The metal grips are parts of an iron pipe serrated in half with welded plates on both sides. The parts are joined and screwed together. Then, the set is secured in a vise.

The AF valve really comes screwed too tight.
Use an appropriate tool or ask a machinist to make one.

Comes out very easy (no need of heat and without risk of damaging the valve).

Simple, yet effective:

i will be doing another video on the TTTA and Spinloc tanks and how to remove them and install them onto non-spnloc guns i wall do a more detailed video on removing the valve from the tank

Come on over and use my heat gun, it has temperature settings 💡
Oh, you’re in NC, sorry 🙄
Nobody be me lives in NW Ohio ❗

Cylinder is empty!

I’ll try heating a little.

Thanks

Shouldn’t remove burst disc unless you have a problem with it.

Best way is with a VRT.

You need to heat the neck of the bottle up to around 200-250 degrees. Do not heat more then that and then try will hot.

You will have a hell of a time trying to remove anything from a pressurized tank ❗

1st step is to release all the pressure until you can depress the valve and see it move back in place via the valve seat spring that is inside.
