Need help with Daystate Valve !
Hi,
I opened up my Daystate Air Ranger .25, it holds air fine when pressured to around 2000 PSI & above but anything less & it starts leaking air, thats why i decided to open it up & check the valve.
i tried sanding a little with 200grid paper the marked area but theres no way i can get it oerfectly flat to sit right.
so was hoping for some advices or if someone can fabricate one for me & im willing to pay for it.

Like others said, stop sanding… without any mechanical device you could do more harm than benefit.
Lathe would be the best, but I believe that the job could be done even with simple electric drill (and with careful attention… not scratching the pin when the valve is attached to the drill and when ground).
Valve should be attached firmly to the chuck of the drill (pin tighten to the chuck)… and put rotating.
Spinning motion is that what is needed and then the sandpaper, but only then, or a very small file. When the valve is spinning like a drill bit, it will be quite easy to ground the surface of the valve flat, flat enough (that it will hold the air pressure).
One should use a piece of very fine sandpaper (or file) and grind the marked surface perfectly flat.
This is one possibility… To succeed (or to fail, if job is done poorly)
Naser, stop to sand your valve or it’ll be completely ruined, as supermono told you. the best and fast way to fix it up is looking for a lathe operator, he could to repair it in a blink just cuting a thin flat slice fo the sit valve giving back the original shape.

I dont mind paying you the $300 if you can make me 3 parts “quickly” 🙂 and please make any modifications you might think will be better.
These diomentions a little bigger then the actual part except for the metal pin, just thought it might help seal air better.

I didnt try contacting Daystate but with my past experince with them, im better off asking someone else to make them for me.
Might be a daft question but carnt you buy them as a part ready made?
Okay guys, i just made a quick drawing with dimentiones for who ever can make a new one for me, im willing to pay via paypal, im not sure how much is needed for such a valve, but im gonna start it off with $300 for three peices.
Anyone intrested ?!!

I dont have a lathe 🙁 & i did check the valve seat, its fine im trying to see how i can sand a little more on the edges to get into a cone shape, will that help ?
As long as it not is bent you should be able to chuck in in a lathe and take a very light cut to clean up the sealing surface. Best done with the valve in a collet chuck. Have you checked the valve seat for scratches/debris?

the diemsion of the seat are the universal 8mm of any 3000 psi pcp. Above that you need much more energy to open the valve.
I have very good friends in miami who maybe can get you the original part.
