Need NV Scope and a Hammer

Well guys, the airgun collection is a couple of FT rifles (although the AAS400 is a fine hunter as well) but I’m ready to branch out a little more.

First off, I’m in the market for a quality Gen 1 NV rifle scope. I searched around and saw that the ATN Paladin is well thought of and comes with it’s own IR illuminator. Is there anything comparable that is as good or better in the Gen 1 market ($500 or less)?

The NV will first go on my .22 rifle. But I’m also planning on getting another airgun. I’m planning on staying with .22 caliber. How hard are the Air Force guns shooting? I’ll need it to be shrouded.
