need some assistance
i cant seem to find it in the quick reference
i took the safety outta the condor the lil saftey spring the lil saftey rod and the lil saftey guide thing
put back together and now it wont hold when cocked it does some times and then it wont
i cant figure out why
anyone have a link to the spot in quick referance or why this is doing this
i never had this problem befor when i removed the saftey so im lost lol

You may have to move the trigger spring (second closest to the trigger) forward some to get it to cock right once you remove the safety. Also remove all saftey parts or it will engage when the rifle is held at certain angels. There is no hole for it but it will stay in place. Also if the screw for the trigger guard is in too much can cause cocking issues. Load and de-cock is the safest and nicest when hunting!

The safety on these guns never impressed me, I thought it was a false sense of security more than anything else. I lost the little spring the first time I took the trigger group apart, and at that time decided that the safety wasn’t going to go back in.
I was initially worried about this setup, but after I figured out how to decock the gun, I realized a couple benefits:
Decocking is 1000% “safer” than relying on that little metal rod to keep the gun from going off. If it isn’t cocked, it isn’t going off accidentally.
I also cussed a lot less because I wasn’t spending my time carefully lining up on the target only to muff the shot because I forgot to switch the blasted safety off before I pulled the trigger. 😉
The Stealth safety shown in the Sticky is not the current setup. Mamcrackin posted an updated diagram somewhere.
With the newer design the small safety rod spring sits up under the safety rod and the rod hooks over the front end of it. That actually puts a little pressure on the safety rod in the forward direction and would make releasing the safety a little easier. If you have forward/backward play in the safety knob/Rod when the safety is On, the spring is probably missing like mine.
I’m looking for a smaller than usual pall point pen spring to see if I can replace the original without making the safety dangerous to the point of self activating. It’d probably be best to order an exact replacement. As careful as I am, my safety spring must of jumped out unnoticed a time or two ago when I had everything apart.
its working good now that i streched the spring a bit
it did make the trigger a hair stiffer but not bad
only polishing i did was using some never dull on the trigger bits didnt remover any material
it all seems ok now
we will have to fire some pellets through and see
Other way around. Sometimes the safety goes bad and it will shoot for no reason. A lot of people here take it out.
If you took out the safety baulk piece make sure it got put back in the right way. I don’t think it’s the safety rod spring because mine operates fine without it. wish i could help you out man, but the trigger area is the only part of my gun i have never touched (other than applying some oil thru the gaps), maybe double check that you put everithing right? did you polish or sand anything while you were in there?

i ve heard from some that they can go off without warning
but i had close to 1000 shots through my other with no issues
i use breech as a saftey i only cock it when i wanna shoot
including when hunting
but i think it was an issue with the spring being a lil weak
ill get some stronger ones tomorrow
sorry man i aint got a clue i heard that removing the safty is a hazard the gun will shoot for no reason

i found this pic and the spring under “A” i streched a tiny bit it seems to be holding now but is this a common problem?
do i need a new spring?
