Need some camo ideas
Hey Guys
Am I missing a section on this site that talks about camo? I am thinking of doing a camo on my new SS ( still coming from PA)
I saw the camo wrap stuff but not sure I could wrap all the ins and outs of the SS and make it look good.
How about camo paint? Anyone out there do that?
Pics of your camo would be very cool to see.

For hunting with my condor, I just wrap the gun in burlap. It’s simple, but it works to break up the outline, and animals won’t notice it.
You could also glue stuff to it, like I do my suit. It works well. 🙂
Side note, that black spot you see is the neck of the shirt, which is covered up by the headgear. 🙂
It’s a lot more work that the artificial stuff, because you have to replace it regularly, because it dies. But what looks more like real leaves than… real leaves? 😀

Its actually more brown in real life, fits in perfect in the desert northwest here.
Mines camo wrap from Cabela’s, Cabelas brand if I remember right. It only sticks to itself and doesnt leave any residue on the gun. Took a tad under 2 rolls to do mine and about 1.75 hours 😯
I’d think Camo would come under Hunting. But were not that strict about it here so If its a Talon SS thats been camo’d then Talon SS sub forum is fine.

Acourvil’s Gun reminds me of…. cant remeber the username but he was one of the California Posse (Mavericks, Sacman, Tofu etc)
McNett Camo Form, Woodland pattern. It took ~2 rolls to do it. It is the stuff that only clings to itself. That’s good for removing it or making changes; bad for areas that you can’t wrap completely w/o blocking access. But overall I think it does a pretty good job.

Your rifle looks sweet.
What brand wrap did you use? I see that many of the wraps only stick to themselves and not the actual surface it is on. is your wrap like that.? That old school looking camo is hard to beat, very cool.
I find a global approach works best. If they don’t see you they won’t be looking for the rifle anyway. 😆
