need thoughts on a leapers 8-32×56 swat scope?
I logged on to http://www.tickbitesupply.com and found cheap prices on all leaper scopes. I think i want the 8-32×56 anyone have one of these?

Here are a few pics of my ZOS scopes that I was asked to post. I would compare them as being slightly higher quallity as the big leapers. I like them very much.. They are not the quality of my Nikko 10x50x060 but they are only 1/4 the price also..
I have one of those on my condor right now. I love it. It doesn’t have the best optics in the world, but you can’t expect that with the price. It is a nice scope though, you can see clearly at 32x. I like it, and would reccomend it.
They kicked you off for offering to “sell” stuff outside of eBay. Even tho you offered it for free.
They dont care who is right or wrong or a douchebag, they just look at their own rules violations.
I’ve been “suspended” about 3 times.. I have 100% positive feedback – It wasn’t a problem with an actual customer or dodgy dealing that got me suspended. I didnt read the rules and broke a couple. Microsoft has a presense on eBay and if you dare list any of their software they will report it to eBay as the copyright holder and eBay removes it on their say so without any further questions.
I listed MS Office 97 – Full version complete with license and it got removed because there wasnt a picture of the license, so I re listed with the license, and it still got removed.
As far as the leapers go – I had one of those 8-32’s and I liked it, Only sold it because I sold the FT rig it was on – But like Dadwilson says, its a cheap scope – Mine had an issue with rust on the turret that I had to take care of.
I may have miss worded my statement about a cheap scope is a cheap scope. I was not referring to the leapers 8x32x56… I was actually trying to say not to go with a cheap scope. I used the big leapers for a good year until I changed them off for a better quality scope and a lot more money. I would never tell someone not to buy that big leaper’s scope. They are a good scope for the money and if you like the side wheel focus then that is the scope to go for.

I bought the 8-32 x 50 Leapers with the illuminatedn green/red mil-dot. Love it – would buy another one. I put a 80mm sidewheel on it too.

Bought a new Zos 10-40×50 with sidewheel and sunshade a while back. I wasn’t impressed at all and got rid of it in a hurry. On 40 x mag it looked like someone coated the lenses in vaseline.
I still have the Leapers 4-16×56 and it’s ok, but the new ns with double the mag looks good and is not much more than the zos overhere.
I suppose you get what you pay for. I for one would never buy a zos again…ever! Buy the best you can afford.

the worst thing about that is ebay probably read the correspondence you had with the shit head stating just what you just said and still sided with said shit head.

I told them when i clean out my garage that if i had anymore stuff that he was looking for i would let him know and would just guve it to him no charge. how do you get kicked off ebay?
If you are going to buy a ZOS off of ebay, you have to know what you are looking for as there are different models of the 10x40x50 and the 10x40x60. I purchased the one the comes with the sun shade, big side wheel and mounts. They are the higher quality scopes. You are not going to get a good one for $170.00.. The magnification on the 40x is very powerful.. You will seldom use all of the magXX though.. I have 3 of them and like them a lot. I just sold one to one of my best buddies.
As far as the Leapers being the same as centerpoint. I will not say that is the case although many airgtunners feel they are the same scope. I look at it this way. You are going to get what you pay for when it comes to scope. A cheap scope is a cheap scope if you know what I mean.
Also is the leapers the same as a centerpoint?
magnification? The only leapers i ever had was the 4-16x56ao swat. Will I be able to notice a diffrence with the 8-32×56?

I have had 3 of the 8x32x56 Leapers scopes and I think they are very good scopes. If you are not dead certain that you have to have the side focus feature there are better quality scopes out there for the same price. I do not advertise for other scope manufactures at all but there is a darn good scope for about the same price, the Hawke 8x32x44. Great scope and excellent quality. There is also the ZOS 10x40x60 that is around $200 or so and I have 23 of them now. The ZOS is the same quality of the Leapers only a higher magXXX. If you like what you see in the Leapers by all means go with it. I have always had good luck with that scope. I just sold them off to purchase bigger and better scopes. Never had a problem with them.

The Leapers SWAT 8-32×56 is a good scope and they work really good on spring guns. I have one that I put on my TX200 just till the Bushy Elite comes in and it works great. If I was shooting a FT match with a PCP, the ZOS would be the better scope due to the higher power magnification.
