Q:

Need to buy CF air tank

My Talon SS is on it’s way and now I need an air supply tank.

Is there any reason I can’t buy the following Carbon Fiber air tank on Ebay and with the right fittings, (which I have no clue at the moment) use it instead of buying the Air Hog version (which comes complete) for $500-$685.00?

It seems I can buy the tank for less than 200 and buy the fittings and lines at Pomona for 165.00.

What am I missing here, Please Advise,

CF tank is the only way to go. IMHO.

Thanks Trigger, I called Tim last night and he’s currently out of the CF tanks but now looking into a Mac1.

Oh OK. Got it. Missed that detail ! 😯

I’m using it as storage to fill my TSS.

I will make a trip to the dive shop on my way home, thank you for helping me out.

The AirHog is 88 cubic FEET. Or 550 cubic INCHES.

The one in your link is 90 cubic INCHES.

There is a LOT more air in the Airhog tank… You would have to buy 6 smaller tanks to equal one AirHog tank, AirHog is a better deal by a long shot…

The ones in your link are for attaching directly to a paintball gun, your looking for a storage tank to refill your Talon tank right?

Those are for paintball and regulated at too low of pressures to fill your Talon Tank.

Find a scuba shop in your area and see what they have.
