Q:

Need to quiet the .25 Caliber Condor

I have called air hog 2X not a call back on either call. I put a frame extender on it made it a 30% better not enough. I need it Marauder quiet under the sound barrier. Anyone?

Thanks Oakey

My TT AAA .25 Condor decked out with shroud looked awfully long at first. But in a week I was used to it, moving it around indoors and shooting from a rest.
It feels natural now.

Barrel sticks out 6 inches past the frame how much longer will it be with a TT shroud?

Oakey 😀

I have a TT shroud I got about a month back. Have removed it several times& had no clipping issues, Tony must have fixed the problem. All I hear is the hammer drop. Dry fire it & I hear just a little, pellet in barrel no noise. It is quieter than my neighbors sons daisy. Perfect.

It’s unreal how quiet the TT Shroud is! Almost erie how quiet it is. 😯

I spoke with Tony and he told me I would have no issues with pellet clipping that his design has changed. I also did buy another shroud for my 18″ .22 barrel I am waiting on it. No one from this board they are on the Yellow forum.

rld1965 stop following me board to board harassing me about my Condor 24″

I appreciate all the help.

Oakey 😀

I forgot to mention I have a Bluejay and a R&L for a 24 inch condor if you wanna try its up to you I never use them and everyone else on here has helped me so Im trying to return the favor. What’s a good deal for a mint condition Bluejay for 24″ Condor?

Told me it took many hours to crank one out. And he might build more at a later date.
Dyostat was very helpful so was Ray.

Thanks

I thought Dyotat quite makeing them? Very well made, but way labor intensive! 😯

Oakey buy the condor SS it is quieter!

I personally would go with Dyotat if hes not to busy. Ive owned R&L, Bluejay, TT, and Dyotat. R&L’s was very well made and had no clipping issues but not too quiet. Bluejay was all around a good shroud but every time I removed it I would have to shoot gun a couple times and move shroud to get rid of the clipping issues. If your not removing from gun I would personally buy his or Dyotat. TT shroud was the quietest but had clipping issues after removing and re installing. Dyotat’s shroud I have no issues. Almost as quiet as TT will be once my new baffle comes in. I remove everyday never have clipping issues. Very solid design. Not trying to bash anyone just have spent over a grand on shrouds because I was misinformed. Any questions call me Raymond 443 467 0075

Call Tony, The Talon Tunes shroud I have makes my gun so quiet it is hard to tell that I pulled the trigger.

I sold the frame extender and my .22 cal 18″barrel. I just disassembled it and put back the 24″.25cal barrel. The gun has under 1 bar of air in the tank and zero on the wheel setting and man this gun is so loud the frame extender actually did help even more then I though. Well anyway good bye Frame Extender.
