New 0.25 r3m matador

I am Tejani from Egypt
Today I have got my new matador 0.25 long
I used to shoot with my 0.22 cricket
So I am new to the ed beautiful piece
I have got hawk scope 6-24-56 on it
I faced a little problem when iam filling …..there is some leaking from the probe insbite of that the orings of the filling probe seems to be new and intact and I used silicon grease to lubricate it but still leaking with filling
Do you have any idea about this problem ?may I change the orings with a bigger size?

You haven’t posted in awhile, you must be very busy with work like my wife !
It’s all in the tolerance in the O-ring sizes if you ask me, some manufactures make them a bit smaller so you may need to experiment.
The #8 is not metric it’s in inches 3/16″ x 1/16″(.1875″ x .0625″).
But if it’s hard to find where you’re at, you could also try and use two 5.1 x 1.6mm instead and see if it hold the pressure back for you.
The Allen key on the rear is for aligning the action in the stock.
I’d leave it alone unless the stock wobbles/moves even when you tighten the Allen key on the trigger guard.
To test:
Loosen the Allen key on the trigger guard about two full turns.
Try to lift only the breech end of the action (you can use the cocking bolt as a handle) straight up and down and see if it moves.
If it doesn’t, it’s good don’t adjust.
Improper adjustment of this Allen key can cause POI shift and or shifting.
If you are experiencing POI shift/ing make sure you rule out other things that can cause it before adjusting this Hex, like scope and mounts, pellet clipping ……..etc.

Also in the later future when or if you disassemble your R3M.
Check to see if the check valve is adjusted right or it may need to be backed out about 1/8-1/4 turns CCW.

Congrats on your new Matador R3M 25 cal Sir !!
If you have tried replacing it with the recommended 5 x 1.5mm O-ring and it still leaks.
You could try using a soft 3/16 x 1/16 inch (#8) on the front and a 5.1 x 1.6mm on the back.
It does seem to be a little loose compared to my other PCP probes.
Although mine doesn’t leak the Taipan Mutants fill probe seems to have a more snug fit on the Matador so I”ve been using that one on both.

that is probably an O ring problem Just switch them I have had probes leak like that even when the O rings look fine.
The leak not between the hose and the probe
It is between the probe and the tank
It was said many times before – seal the thread between filling probe and hose: 2-3 layers of plumbers tape would do the trick.
When I have my new .25, I filled it very slow, it leaked from there. I kept filling and open valve bigger and the leaking stopped.
You may try to fill it faster at beginning, then slow down.
