Q:

New 1 piece grip is completed

Well guys this has been a work in progress for some time now…. Winter illness has kept me out of the shop for sometime…By the way my apologies to those that have waited on anything…. I will be making a post in the For Sale section..These along with my other grip and forearms will be available in Maple, Laminate and Walnut..I have found a local supplier for the walnut and another company for the laminate..I will have to get a minimum of 3 orders to get the laminate in…

i like it mate u could make it a wee bit less gurth or router some off the frame in there .i,ve done both methods and they came out pretty nice .
keep it up mate . 😉

Brutus, I am out of town right now. When i get home Monday I can forward you a larger picture…I don’t have them on my laptop… also the bedliner spray or the duracoat is really nice and tactical…bedliner when applied right and sprayed with flat black paint looks just like a remington 700 pss stock….

Rabbit mine uses both screws. I did that in hope that it would strenghten the frame some….

I don’t have a frame to put it on for a pic right now..I have to get another and put myself a new gun together….

What do you guys think about a flute down the side of the forearm ?

do you have a bigger picture you can send me? even a link to a photoshot image would be handy.

quote brutus:

that has to be the best i have seen for this rifle. well done that man.

I would have one but i have never really liked wood on rifles. if you do it in a different material let me know.

also have you got an action you can put on it to give us all a better idea of the finished product?

the pic in my av came from him, it is maple but it has the duracoat finish
doesnot look like wood at all

thats preety sweet mate . tell me when i done the one piece grips used the one screw attachment have u went the same way as i did .
sometime,s i wish i lievd in the state,s at the mo finding good wood to make the stocks i do is getting harder and harder i was even looking at shipping some from the states laminate and walnut

I am so glad to see 1-piece grips being made these days. It really minimizes the flex issue.

Well done!

it would not be a problem to make you one without the finger grooves..

I do not want to be impertinent but could it be made without the finger grooves? I have a small hand and therefore most of the grips doesn’t fit.

Regards
Uwe

i am liking that
i may orderone and duracoat it to match the set i have now 😈
