Ok;
Have the gun, have the scope, have the pellets…
Now; just shoot it? Or, clean the barrel first?
Also; wait to mount the shroud until after cleaning?

IF you want to have high pressure air later , i would go ahead and get a scuba tank or better yet a scba tank and get it over with.
I rented a scuba tank untill my scba tank came in the mail.
YOu can turn the stock condor down and shoot 500 feet per second if you want to ,and get like 150 shots and not touch the air tank.
But what voltar said is right on, get lots of pellets, and allot of guys enjoy co2 , and if you already have the adapter why not , but i go from high power to low power with adjustment of the gun.
the (crosman hollow point) from wal mart is a good source for pellets and they do fine for your informal plinking and practice, if you sort them they will take care of all your shooting except the greatest degree of accuracy department.
For the greatest accuracy get the ((JSB pellets )) hands down. but i dont plink with them, they are pricey, so i reserve them for teh finest target work for the most part.
I am planning an indoor low power CO2 beginning…
This will be with the stock 24″ barrel and an Airhog frame extended.
Any Advice?
buy LOTS of pellets and get a CO2 tank if you can 🙂

That CONDOR ain’t no BB gun.
It will go through a lot of wood so be sure you have a safe shooting location.
I know, I didn’t need to say that but…

and yes shoot it without the shroud to know how accurate it is, then install the shroud to see if you get any clipping.
Watch for loosening of the tophat grubs, barrel setscrews, bottle collar setscrew.
silicone lube on orings in breech slide….
AND report back how the gun performs!
Probably a good idea to run a few wet patches through the barrel, if the first patch comes out dirty. That will tell you to run some more, until they come out clean.

18 gr.JSB are excellent pellets .
C02 is fun thats how I started off , its good out to 30 40 yards then the groups will start to open up a bit . Its good for small birds, rats ,mice.
But not as good on squirrels , they’re surprisingly tough little bastards
