Here is a group from today…

The cocking is getting smoother the more I shoot, I did open it up and add a little oil to a few places…think that helped as well. I did order a couple tins of the AA 25.4 just to give them a try.
BTW…has anybody else got their cheek whiskers caught in the magazine yet…ouch!!!
Moby , It will get better , but , you are going to have to put at least 1,000 pellets through it
maybe more before the bolt cycling fells smoother .
FROM : THE BIRDMAN

Got out and put about 200 rounds thru the gun, also switched the cocking bolt from left to right. This thing hits hard and is accurate!
Not too loud except that ping in your ear. But since I have constant ringing in my ears anyway…after the first couple shots I don’t even notice it lol.
Now for cocking this beast…hardest PCP I’ve owned to cock by far! I understand there’s some resistance pulling it back but to push it forward and lock takes real effort. A few times I had to shove it forward with the palm of my hand or back it up a small bit and get a run at it to close. Moving the handle from left to right made no difference. The moving parts look well lubed so I didn’t feel the need to add more. Would think maybe the pellets are not loading into the breech straight on but the accuracy is right on, no POI shifting.
This cannot be the norm for this ($1700) gun…right?
BTW…I emailed Tony first…just haven’t heard back from him yet.
Solve your hard to chamber pellet problem & improve your accuracy all at once – switch to Air Arms 25.4 Diabolo Field.
Try a tin of Air Arms, you won’t be sorry and probably won’t go back to JSB’s.
JM2CW My “V” is almost like a different gun now.
Yeah it gets smoother as u shoot it couple tin and it will smooth out everything is new it has no mechanical advantage u r it just keep shooting :2cents:
I moved my bolt from left to the right hand side and love it. Feels natural for a right handed shooter.
Yea, mine was pretty stiff at first, but now it’s pretty smooth and cycles flawlessly. It will never cycle as smooth as my crickets, but being a lefty, it is orders of magnitude better than having that cocking leaver in your cheek weld! So far the only thing I did to mine is clean the barrel and every time I shoot it, it seems to get better and better.
I sure do not like loading the magazines since I got used to speed loading the Cricket magazines. That one pellet at a time loading all the while having to hold the tension on the indexing carousel of these Vulcan magazines is a pain, but as I have posted, this Vulcan has quickly become my favorite gun.
Mine took about 200 pellets through it before it settled in nice and smooth. It seams like the maybe the mags have to wear in a little also before they work nice. I had a few jams and had a hard time getting the mag back out once it did jammed a couple times but I have about 700 through it now and everything works nice even the safety is movable with my finger easily.
Ok rain stopped today finally!

NorthWest Arkansas…2 1/2 days straight so far…not fun!
Man, don’t know where you are, but here in Southeast Texas, we got almost 7″ of rain last night! It will be a while before things dry out around my house!
Took out two starlings with it this morning from my front porch at about 20 yds, nearly decapitated one of them!
Had to work on the trigger to give me a little first stage then a nice clean second stage break.
Thinking I might switch the cocking bolt over to the right side, just feels very awkward on the left side. I’m really having to use the palm of my hand to get it all the way forward and locked down.
250 bar is really gonna suck the air out of my tank but luckily I have the omega compressor to top it back off!
I’ll post some more pics once this rain get’s the Frack outta here!
If yours shoots like mine did right out of the box, you’ll be impressed! The sparrows n starlings in my area have been largely vulcanized to the point they won’t even fly over my yard!
Congrats Cl82, nice looking and your going to love it. Better order more pellets, your going to need them.
