New AF stocks….
Anyone notice Maddog Stocks has an ad over on the Yellow?
He has a new model called the Bull Dog Ambi….kinda catchy. I like the fact that it weighs less than two lbs (1lb 8oz).
There’s some potential to do a few things there!

I hope it is more then a regulator.
I’ve been thinking about a MD stock, but I’m also sitting on enough money for a new gun right now. Before I go on over to AOA and “pull the trigger” on the MK2 Verminator, I’m waiting to see what AF “reveals” at the upcoming SHOT show.
A somewhat recent thread here on the TAG suggested that AF would be showing some significant product changes at the show. I’m really looking forward to seeing how they’ve spent their time and R&D money. When the TalonP was released, many scoffed at it as simply a lame attempt to sell more guns. I suspect they were shrewdly using a backstock of Talon frames to raise some needed capital to finance the development of an entirely new product. I guess we’ll see, I’m hoping for something worth the wait…. 😎
Cosmetically, AF probably can’t change a thing now because there are so many mods available currently, no one would be pleased, unless they put in a better trigger and safety system. There’s always room for mechanical progress.

Considerably, I like the Wok-guard look too, a plain gun just looks cheap to me, you would think AF could come up with something better looking, may sell more guns.
That really changes the looks for the better, doesn’t it?

Reminds me a little of my 2008 mdf stock.
A full length stock is a great upgrade!

I’m sure enjoying the Ultima Long. Changed the character of the gun for the better. All Good!

It is now just a dependable, solid platform. Something it never was before.
I feel as though I have a brand new pcp with this set-up. And to my eyes, better looking too boot! 😀

I like the looks of the original MD stock better. Not sure how much the original weighs but it feels like a feather to me….

Looks like the new stock might me able to accommodate an E-tac and larger bottle. 😉
