New AG comming…2018…VERY light weight
Just wanted to give Hoot, Zonk, Iride, Bizll and the rest of you guys a heads up on new gun coming in 2018. The gun was just in prototype right after Shot show, technology looks promising especially for hunters woods walking. :8: :5:

Ground hogs or prairie dogs, not personally. Did have myself a fat, not “PH” phat, but fat squirrel messin’ about my back porch. Let’s just say that was my Taipan’s first victim. And I was elated that I took him from an entire 15 yards! :rofl:

It just so happens I apparently reached the end of the internet that night!! :4: After seeing that vid, I started thinking what could Iride create with all those extra motor sickle (cycle :biggrinn: ) parts laying around. I mean he’s has a few tail pipes that could be used as shrouds, engines that could compress air, all he needs is a TJ or LW barrel and he could create something that would compete with the FX Independence!

Its 4340 steel, turned on my lathe. 1.0″ bore, 9″ long inside, 17″ long and mounts on a staff. Fill with 2F blackpowder and put a hot wire down the charge hole. BANG!

I had one also Mike. I’d shoot potatoes out back and they’d shoot as far as the eye could see. I swear they went a mile or more. Sure had a lot of fun with it. We used starting fluid in ours.

Lets remake the cannon ,
Hand held cannon, I could shoot 10 lb ball bearings at over 900 fps with 5000 PSI .
Back around 1970 I had a fixed potato launcher set up in my back yard, Hell I did not do the WD40 or hair spray crap,
I shot it with starting fluid, shot about a 30 foot flame if you over loaded it , It was a simple steel pipe bolted to the cement in my back yard, Never saw where the hell the potato went…..
took the cops about an hour to get it off the pad and said they would come back with warrants when they figured out what it was.
They never came back, They stole my potato launcher,

I’m pondering this morning. I think you could give Frederick Axelson a run for his money with all those motorcycle parts you got layin around. I mean a tailpipe could make a decent shroud, you prolly got a few Pistons that could be used for hammer, oh I know you got to have some springs (suspension). I mean you got the parts just laying around don’t you? Your AG’s could have an onboard compressor! You could build something that would put FX Independence to shame! :4: :8: :biggrinn:
