New Air WOLF MCT 22 caliber initial review

This came by UPS today from Airguns of Arizona…

Inside was this…

FREE !! with the order was the Hawke Sidewinder scope – very nice indeed.

After I mounted a Nikko Sterling Diamond scope and a Dr. Bob clamp and Bipod – I was ready !

AOA had already tested the gun so it was filled to 180 Bar and battery charged. I loaded the mag with kodiaks and proceeded to zero her in. After 5 shots I was in the red dots. Target was at 40 yards. The remainer of the magazine went practically into one hole on the bottom dot !!

Holy crap this gun is the ultimate ! The grip is a little big for my small hands but I manage ok. The trigger is like silk. The report isn’t loud but not quiet either. The Edgun and Marauder are quieter than this gun, and of course my Condors are mouse farters. After another loading I cut loose on the metal swing targets. The gun was already set on high and it hit HARD ! Without the chrony ( later ) it feels like it hits harder than the Edgun but not as hard as my condors.

This is the Ultimate rifle in my initial opinion. I cannot miss. So far it works as advertised. Tomorrow I will play with it some more and report back on Chrony readouts.

Right now I just want to look at it…:)

Sounds amazing….

Tron is exactly right, and a great description. Unlike any other you will have capped off.

The best way to describe the trigger is that it feels much the same as clicking a mouse button on a computer.

So there is some sort of indicator that lets your finger know the shot is
released?

Well, there is a take up, the same as a normal trigger, but when it breaks to fire it just feels like clicking a mouse. There is no feeling of hammer slap or springs releasing; just the pellet being fired.

Tach that is some impressive stuff….What does the trigger release feel
like….Does it break or just go off at some point?

It’s an electronic trigger with the softest pull of any gun I’ve had. No springs, linkages, etc.

It’s called a Dr. Bob bottle clamp, made by dr. Bob on the Airgun advise forum. I oddered two, one for the MCT and one for the upcoming Royale.

It’s nicely made, powder coated. It’s worth having it shipped from england.

The onboard chrony has been deleted on this model. It has 7 stages on electronic adjustment.

Stage one Magazine counter reset ( number of shots taken ) You know ” in all this excitement did I fire 6 or only 5 ”
Stage two Reset shot count
Stage three Displays pressure in BAR
Stage four sets the power level HI or LO
Stage five Lighting options
Stage six Magazine counter on/off
Stage seven Sets it up for single shot tray
Stage eight pressure warning setting
Stage nine Default settings from factory

Other nice things it does

I can switch the magazine to insert over to the left or right side of the gun. So I can keep the big Nikko sidewheel if I want

Has a nice cap that protects the male foster fill port

The bolt is so smooth…:)

Trigger is the smoothest of all my rifles… and rightly should be !

The stock is a work of art. When shouldered the butt is planted right into your shoulder. Perfect alignment with the scope eyepiece.

The magazine loads like butter. It definitely likes Kodiaks and ‘m glad.

For the money this gun should be perfect and is.

Everyone into high performance PCP rifles needs to experience the MCT

Love it. 😀
Doesn’t it have the onboard chrony, or did they take it out after it kept self destructing??!!

Was wondering the same thing….
