Q:

New barrel

Could you use a 22 rifle barrel liner and daystate .223 ammo? For a different setup than a regular pellet gun. How Do you think this setup would be for long range? Would it be more accurate than a regular barrel or would it shoot all over? And at what speed could it reach? Thinking of biulding a new gun looking at options for a good setup. Thanks Cuda

Valter the biggest od is 1/2″ at TOTW. And 3/4″od 24″L at E-gunparts and use daystates .223 speical ammo. Should work with a big valve setup.

quote Cuda:

The one at e-gunparts in 3/4″ od what is the od of af barrel? And I can not find a 22 cal at track of the wolf.

if’n it was me I would use an airgun barrel of good quality and then if the bullets was what I wanted to shoot make up a sizer to size them to fit my barrel.
Piece of cake!
Walter….
The best airgun serviceable liners are from Track of the Wolf if that is what you want.

got some .223 barrel liner here, but in my opinion it’s just a bit too thin. hit something and he barrel is bend… for a good and cheap alternative:

haven’ installed the barrel yet, so can’t give any info on accuracy etc.
