Don’t buy… Already scamming people– by trajtemberg

You likely read about what your “short story” claims in a web forum, newspaper.
Maybe you know about these events personally.
Tell us the “long story”and post the links to your sources of information
so that we can learn about it, rather than ask us to rely on your word.–Reasonable?
We’ll worry about translation issues.

By the way– where does the reservoir tubing for
the Cricket and Edgun reservoir tubing come from?

Its a long LONG story… Basically they are taking money in advance, and sending out unfinished and incomplete rifles, and in some cases they wont send anything at all.

The worst part is that they seem unable to answer where the reservoir tubing came from or show any documentation that assures that its capable to withstand 300bar (nowadays they lowered the w.p. to 250b 🙄 ).

Not even date of manufacture or expiration.

Dont buy, they are already scamming people here in Argentina.

Interesting……

In what way ???

Dont buy, they are already scamming people here in Argentina.

So you are saying you want someone who is “fair” but willing to overlook the obvious design copy issues?

I guess you don’t realize how ridiculous that sounds.

Good luck getting a rifle to Zoco, it typically takes a year or more due to customs or whatever issues are there. There are a number of folks here that can review this rifle in comparison to the established bullpup lines. You may have to accept the FACT that a few of “your” ideas appear to be copied from other places and just because someone points out the obvious doesn’t mean they are biased…

If you wanted a touchy feely politically correct, don’t tell the truth welcome you should have introduced this rifle elsewhere. Using other people’s designs for retail production endeavors doesn’t go over well here at all.

Even if the rifle is as accurate as the current bullpups, or more accurate, it will still come back to the design of the stock looking unusually like a Cricket.

Getting a gun into Norway is not the difficult part. It is actually quite simple as long you have the necessary paperwork prepared. The entire customs procedure may take just a few days including the proper registration with the police (needed for anything above cal. 177)……. 😉

The problems we have seen in the past have been related to export difficulties out of Russia/Estonia. How potential restrictions may work out of Argentina, I have no clue……..

Transport from Argentina may be another issue.

That said, – any review by any person will inevitably end up being his own personal opinion. Some may call that “biased”, – others not. I have several times stressed in my other threads where I share my experiences that my opinion is just that, – my own. Others may feel differently. It isn’t until you have a lot of experiences reported from different people that you can begin to see the contours of an objective evaluation of a product. That said, I find independent reviews and experiences reported here and elsewhere much more credible than the ones you may find in trade magazines. Also I would be skeptical to any review where payment of any sort is involved………

Now, this “Prohunter” certainly has a design that makes one think that copying is part of it. I don’t like that much to be honest. Also the breech seems like it has been taken from the Cricket. But that’s on the outside. Mag indexing seems to be totally different, – meaning that what’s inside the breech block should be very different. How good or bad it works is too easy to tell, – at least for me. The fact that it seems the regulator may be adjusted by turning a screw on the outside of the gun triggers my curiosity a lot. If it works, – one should be able to adjust to a variety of different settings. The need for a gauge reporting pressure from the reg. chamber springs to mind. That would make this feature even more useful……..

In short, I find this “new arrival” on our bullpup stage “refreshing” with some interesting features. I would like to test it out if I ever get the chance……..

The fact that the producer has balls enough to stick his neck out and openly ask for an opinion is positive in my book………

Cheers

there are 3 or 4 manufacturers of Air Rifles in South America (all in Argentina). I am very happy to aver longer an option for us South Americans. And I hope that the price is more compatible with our reality. (Kalibr and Edguns are sooo expensive, price of a car 😯 ). End of the year I’m going to visit my relatives in Argentina Bariloche, I could visit Itguns? good luck to your company.

thank you very much, we will be in contact so that this can be achieved.

a hug

Hi Guys !

Firstly, – it is correct that I have been approached by ltguns with a request to do a test/comparison. It is also correct that I have not replied to them, – and I apologize for that. Time has not been on my side, and I have also been out there in the Norwegian wilderness for quite a while with a lousy internet connection (but with lots of guns to test !)…… :4: :4: 😀

Secondly, – and my personal opinion: Everybody has started somewhere, – and judging from what I have seen and read so far, – the ltguns “Prohunter” may be just another option if it at all becomes available in our marketplace. Yes, – it does look a bit like ideas have been copied here and there, but then I guess that is the normality these days. Look at the Chinese direct copies of many different brands. They still sell like hot cakes……….. 🙄

As of now I would not be jumping to conclusions. I am however uncertain about what would be the ltguns competing edge compared to the bullpups we already now. So far we know fairly well ED’s produce as well as the Kalibr ones. FX is a runner up, – so is Evanix. May be others will show up later. I am surprised that Daystate has not shown us anything yet. Competition is an ugly beast for producers but in general good for us on the other side of table. I am actually quite impressed that what may be a newcomer to us, – has the guts to stick his head out and ask for a comparison in the present bullpup climate…….. 😉

As some may know, I am scheduled to receive my R3M in December. I’m looking forward to that. I have planned a comparison between the latest technology from Ed and that out of Kalibr. I would be perfectly willing to throw the ltguns’ newcomer into the mix. It may be of limited interest to the huge US market, – but don’t ever forget there’s an equally big market in South America as well as in other parts of the world where availability of Edguns and Crickets may be limited. Let’s see what happens next……

From Oslo with love…….

Trygve 😀

perfect friend, I’m going to make all this information and I’ll post in this forum

thank

Hi there;

PS for ltgun guys;

Why you don’t provide us with below info & details;

I believe people will become to understand the differences between this bullpup & others…. isn’t it?

I would like to see it set up for left handed use and more specs. Asking $1500 for a new manufacture in a foreign (to me anyway) country is hard to take a leap of faith. Where in the U.S. are they being sold. Thanks.

Thank you Syn

So far–
“Logo issue?…
Looks like Cricket?…
Daystate magazines?…
Has to perform higher and more efficiently than Edgun & Cricket, [or] otherwise?”

The two guys are just starting out, not getting much support– and they’re getting hit up for .30 cals already?… (jeez)

Yes, Claudio and his Sweatshirt partner need to present more enlightening and convincing data– videos, independent reviews.

Maybe you, zocoloco, can help out with a review? (unless you’re away negotiating a promotion deal with FX and Daystate?)

Dear Claudio and Sweatshirt,
Send zocoloco a gun. He is a capable, thorough, fair, and still independent, reviewer of bullpups.

Good afternoon.

precisely, the first day we came to this forum, I’ve sent an email to Zocoloco telling that we be interested to try one of our amras to give their point of view with this, but we have had no reply.

thank you very much.
