Q:

New Bullpup Kit Coming Soon…Made in USA!

This fellow is for real, has a premium bullpup kit past prototype development, and will be selling them soon.

Here’s his website: http://leftymadrid.com/Home_Page.html

He’s going to start with Marauder of all calibers. Then move on to AA and other brands as demand dictates.

On his website, check out the “Products” tab, as it shows what the bullpup kit will look like. Combo of wood and aluminum construction. CNC cut, and professionally done to very tight specifications.

He is going to announce retail prices very soon. I don’t have any idea of cost, but it should be cheaper than the Pekator kit which is running over $550 USD. If it’s high quality, and close tolerances, it will be worth a few bucks to own.

If you want to order early his email addy is: Leftymadrid@gmail.com

I plan on getting one and will post my results and thoughts after it arrives. I’m probably going to put it on a .25 Marauder. Should be interesting, as the Marauder .25 needs downsizing badly. With the bullpup kit, I should be able to add the air cylinder and shroud extension without problem. That is a very good thing because the Marauder only gets around 16 full power shots on a 3K fill. Quieter, and with 24+ shots at fulll power, would make for an interesting, affordable, piece of gear.

Been watching that one and likely will do the same thing. I have the Pekator kit for a Hammerli… and while it looks really good, the linkage just plain sucks.

Hope they figure out the linkage a bit better on the MRod…

what you are planning is precisely what I was looking at…. .25 giving a decent number of shots…

wanna race? 😆

Jim Gaska, Marmotmilitia.com, has the shroud extension and the air cylinder extension giving 4.5 ci of add’l air. That will work on a bullpup without any problems.

I spoke to Leftymadrid and he said the linkage on his Pekator was one reason he decided to try this venture. It’s all about quality on his shift, so I’m curious to see how this works out. It beats paying $550 for a six week wait for a Pekator kit.

Raven, the Marauder had its development problems but I believe that’s in the past. I’ve not seen a negative posting on them in a long time. I’m going to give it a try.

Matadors? Bullpup kit?
What?

He meant Marauder. Just checked the website myself. I’m no fan of marauders because I had one that kept tank dumping, this was after I had to get Crosman to replace the valve because it leaked out all the air.
