thanx dirty, in the process of getting into local 50 pipefitters local in toledo. have AWS QC11 certification also mich state certified stick and tig in mild steel, stainless steel, and chrome, pipe and plate all positions happy shooting ken
Are you a pie welder? ASME IX, or API 1104? Maybe both? Not to many welders around this place. Welcome aboard.
Sounds like the plastic washer/insulator on the breech knob stem. With out it you’ll have metal to metal contact between the breech knob and frame causing scraping. Gun will work fine without it. Easy fix is to use 1/4″ water tubing as a replacement.
i was shooting in the backyard a bit and as i was closing the breach i seen a little round plastic piece fall out. looks to be 1/4 inch in dia. by about 3/32 deep by 1 millimeter thick. seems to still shoot alright, is this something i should be concerened about. any feedback would be awesome. thanx in advance ken
Tag…. you it 😆
it mounts with the grub screw that holds your plastic end cap/trim pice on and will not mare any finishes.
btw – silencers are for powder burners, shrouds are for air guns 😉
srry your last post just showed up pleaz disregard my last post
srry gtbjay u misunderstood i was talking about the instillation of your silencer will any finishes be marred in the process

I think we have had a miscommunication….Don’t get me wrong, your condor is one bad assed air gun and well worth what you paid, ask me how I know 😛
the slip on butt plate/sleeve that you are talking about is a wast of money, get the WoK butt and you will love it for instant shouldering, repeat check weld, great craftsmanship, and you won’t have a sore neck after a tank of air through it.
one question how is this mounted set screws??? will it marr any finishes ect thanx in advance ken
thank you gtbj for the info i had done a lot of research before i purchesed this fine air rifle and believe my money was well spent thanx again and happy shooting.
welcome AWS, the slip on butt stocks you are referring to are acutely for an FX rifle and they run about $175 I think??? also they place your cheek weld too high for comfy shooting, in my opinion and most they are not worth it. what you need is a WoK Butt built by our very one Walk On King, here is a link to his goods

don’t worry about the list being closed, he will open it shortly, and if you ask him nicely you may be able to get in on this run.
as for taming the bark, there are a few of us here that build them including the owner of the form Tony from Talon tunes that hands down has the best ones, but here is a link to mine.

Pie welder? Looks like I left the “p” out. My bad. 😉
