NEW CONDOR/TALON FRAME ENDCAP
I have decided to limit myself to lathe stuff until the rest of my tooling arrives for the mill so I worked on something new tonight.
Seem to remember a couple posts in the past folks griping as to why the TSS shooters got an aluminum endcap and the condor/talon guys got a cheap piece of plastic. Since I have not seen it offered as a mod yet, Here’s an alternative.
I think the AF piece is too stubby and doesn’t look right on the gun (personal opinion of course) so this first one is “extended profile”

almost “seamless” a near vacuum fit.
As seen is 400/matte finish.
Planned options include:
Knurling/grooving
Polishing
GunKote Matte black finish
Standard dimension and “extended profile”.

Yeah, i was thinking that one would REALLY put the quiet on any bbl shorter than 17 inches. That’s the SuperSilencer version 😉

It’s in the works. Tubing hasn’t arrived yet. And I figured not everyone needs a shroud.

If you can make those, your only a few steps away from making nice and lightweight shroud adapters.
I turned my own from Alu, grooved the 1.009″ O.D. end where the shroud bolt/grub screw contacts it. Turned the other end to fit snug inside whatever diameter tube I had on hand, I think it was 1.25″.
You could probably turn a better penny building those instead of endcaps. Almost everybody wants a shroud. Building a shroud is easy, attaching them to the frame snug is the hardest part.

Ive been thinking of marketing adapters but don’t have full access to the lathe. I can only use it off the clock. I barely have enough time to make my own parts LOL.
