New cricket?
How do you know if you getting latest version of the cricket you just purchase?. What to look for, is it the air indicator?

My friend just bought a new Cricket. There is only one bolt attaching the stock to the rifle. The second bolt goes through the pistol grip to a “tee” nut inside the barrel channel, but doesn’t connect to the action. Looks to me like its there to prevent the stock from cracking.
But very nice.
Are you sure? Because this looks just like the one I have 🙂
How is the Cricket in .177? Accuracy, sound profile and shots per fill?
I have not got chance to try my 177 on the range yet but up to 50 yard is very accurate (close to the 22).
The 22 is sub 1 inch at 100 yard easily. been wanting to take the 177 one day to the indoor range and compare them together but never got the chance.
Sound is more quiet than the 22 obviously. With tuning it down to 600 fps I get an extremely silent backyard friendly shooter with 200+ shots per fill.
But very nice.

That’s to bad. I’d bet they sell more with some fancy wood.
Probably no one got it in this wood. It w was only marketing picture

Jan that’s some nice looking wood on the cricket.
The new crickets do have 2 bolts fixing the stock to the rifle
They had not stop manufacturing WST stock. These stock were unique not like heavy buldog stock 😡 😕
Nice example:

Well get off your butt and show us…. :biggrinn:
I had a discussion with Steve from WWAG and per him the guns are identical with the exception of that extra bolt which does not serve any purpose for such recoiless gun.
Awny is your cricket a single or 2 screw attachment?
Dave
Single. No worries, you sold me the right skeleton stock, and looks great :8:

How are you satisfied with two bolts connection ? Is it more stiffer ? Does it minimize a POI ?

Awny that’s a lot of shots per fill, I wish my .22 would get that but I’d hate to slow it down to 600fps.
