new crosman 1377 stock pistol
My very excellent wife had her mother buy me this pistol for Christmas. I am not a fan of .177 but I am liking this platform. Off hand ten shot group at ten meter was quarter size group with the crude sights and the factory heavy trigger.
Now I have seen expensive powder eaters in .22 that couldn’t shoot that well. Looks like a .22 barrel upgrade, trigger, steel breech and a valve upgrade is in its future. Unless I keep it stock and use it for running a trap line.

That’s some pretty good grouping for what sights you have to work with. Heck I can barely make out a 1″ circle at 15yrds. I went bout all out on my 1377, brass flat face valve and piston, prod trigger assembly, multi shot breech and 18″ LW .177 barrel. It shoots jsb 8.44s at 700+ 11 pumps and a yard sweeper out to 20yrds.
I’d suggest if you want it in the .22 buy another gun. I buy most my parts and stuff off eBay. You can make a big improvement swapping out to the prod trigger assembly and add a power adjuster and lots of goodies to play with out there.
My modded 1377 loves the $5 a tin of Winchester .177 pellets and is very accurate.I have a 24″ barrel on it.

Nice! I really like the new grips. The 1377 platform is a ton of fun. I turned mine into a nice little carbine with dot site. Its a perfect gopher/squirrel gun and plinker.
