New Crosman Build….
Spent the weekend scavenging old parts…
The objective: Use scrap parts to build a cheap, light, quiet rig that gave a reasonable velocity and number of shots. I think I succeeded.
For this build, I used a 2260 tube I’d gotten from the Yellow Classifieds, that came with a tootsie roll forearm. I had a spare Discovery valve and fill assembly, a top end with a 14 inch barrel, a power adjuster of unknown origin, a Crosman stock with SKS cheek riser, and a TKO quiet brake.

The results are quite good, I think… I started out at around 600fps up to 630 and then back to 599 by shot number 25… I wanted a little bit more so I turned the power adjuster in and ended up with 680fps up to 701 and down to 650fps by shot number 15…. I then found middle ground with the following string and I’m happy with it.
Starting from a 100 bar fill and ending at 60 bar…. it takes only 21 pumps to fill back to 100 bar.

Accuracy is also good on it though I do need to do something with the stock trigger arrangement….
