I wonder if it will get at least 800-900 fps with lead pellets.
I want to get a new .22 rifle, it’s either this or a Walther Magnum which gets over 900 fps with .22 14 grain pellets.

In lieu of awaiting performance data, I must add that cheek rest is cheezy looking, otherwise it is a handsome rifle.

With a Theoben you get a functional and well balanced rifle that will be lighter and a joy to shoot.
Gotta agree… Cheap, gimicky springers = trouble.
If you are looking for a magnum class .22 springer, the RWS 48 and variants…. RWS 350…. RWS 460…. or the Kodiak/Patriot are going to be the cheapest really good springers you’ll find.
You’d do much better with a 13fpe GOOD springer than the 800fps ‘claimed’ magnums from Crosman, Gamo, Walther, and such.
I very well may have to retract…. In my haste to post trash on the gun, I failed to realize this was a gas strut gun. Will be interesting to see the reports on it. I hope my initial reaction was WAY off base. Personally, I give plenty of kudos to Crosman for what they do for responsible airgunning in America. Certainly dont want to portray them in the same light as Gamo.
I will stick by my premise that as a rule, cheap springers are trouble…. but I’ve done my share of turd polishing with good results and assuming good barrel, lockup, seals, and trigger…. this gun very well may be worth looking at.
I will let you know when it comes. I orderd one for my son and just to check it out. Wanted to see what the cheaper gasrams can do and it would be my first .22 spring gun. I will do a trigger mod. when I get it.

Just a poor copy of a Theoben gas ram rifle.It looks too long and out of balance with gimmicky cam.

That is one big springer and Crosman makes a good springer in my book, it is a long gun and fairly heavy, get one and tell us how she shoots.

Those gas pistons are becoming popular this year. A lot of people here have pellet guns but, unless you have personally had and tested one , then you can’t honestly judge a product. This guns not a springer, so it won’t suffer from the problems associated with them.
As you were questioning weather you could get 800 to 900 fps, in 22, I think probably so, maybe a little more
Ive wanted to shoot one of those gas piston to see what it felt like.
Most of the people that post on here like to tinker with their guns.
If your just wanting something you don’t have to do anything to, get some pellets, run around, do some shooting , then you’ll probably be happy with it.
