Thx guys

Welcome to the EDgun family! All Matadors are set at 130. My suggestion is to leave it alone for now. There is a way to tune that gun for an insane shot count, but I don’t feel like typing that much ( just kidding). Just learn the gun, for now, let it settle in for about 1000 rounds. The gun will sling JSB 18s about 1000 FPS without even working hard. I think that is a little too fast. It will strip lead in the choke area.

I’d clean the barrel yes and shoot a full crony string to keep as reference for later.
Shoot it for a while to see how the accuracy doing and to let the gun playin/breakin some, at least a couple tins if not more.

During this period the only thing I would adjust is the HST to test speeds.
Typically JSB 18g does well in the 880-920fps range but you need to see what yours likes, for the R3M long up to 950fps ?

Also what type of shooting are you planning to do ?
Target, you’d want to maximize the accuracy.
For hunting it depends on the game, it’s kill zone size and distance taken.

That’s just me, but I hope more will reply in for their advice.
