Q:

New Evanix Max 480 Semi Bull Pup 2.4KG ???

New Evanix Max 480 Semi Bull Pup 2.4KG ???

Seems like a great platform – can change to 177, 22, 25 and .302 (?)

They say these will be available in March – anyone got more info on these?

I will probably get the 2nd Gen or after these have been out for several months…

I’m not into Pups, and I think this new one it is pretty fugly, however I’m curious to see out how it works once it comes out.

Uff Da! You said it!

I honestly don’t like the looks of any Bullpup. Only the Steyr AUG looks good.

You are browsing the wrong part of the forum then :winkn: This new Evanix is mechanical, or so I’ve been told. Don’t know whether it has a shroud piston or if it uses air from transfer port or muzzle to operate the action.

I haven’t seen any mention on whether the semi-auto action is electric or mechanical. Regards, Tom

what will be the price?

Is it true the Evanix is the same as the Puncher? Or the Puncher is the same as the Evanix?
This will be the first made in Turkey gun I ever owned,
Mine is going to be in 177, Its just going to be my sparrow gun.

Evanix RS2/Blizzard is pretty much the same basic design as Kral, similar monoblock, similar valve block, similar trigger setup and sidelever. Parts are very close so they may interchange. I believe Evanix came out first, then came JKHan with a copy of that design and then Kral. Some JKHan blueprints are stamped by Hyundai heavy industries which may be the parts provider for Evanix as well or the source of the original design. None of the above is THE same gun but they share the same basic design and possibly some parts as well.

I’m pretty sure it’s made in Korea. Hatsan is (pretty much) the same as Kral, both are from Turkey. But Evanix is Korean I think

This is what an Evanix .30 barrel can do at 50 yards 7 shots

80 yards 7 shots

And I’m nowhere near a good target shooter.

There’s is a guy with a .30 that is shooting consistently between 1.2″-1.7″ at 100 yards

This is a 50 yards 10 shots group with a .25

But I think the best Evanix barrels are the .22 Really not pellet picky at all, they shoot everything well

How are the barrels on Evanix? Are they in any way comparable to the quality and accuracy of CZ and LW?

Barrels themselves are fine but it seems that the lathe work causes tight spots or even worse in those barrels I’ve seen:

Is there some sort of law where bull pups have to have a thumbhole style stock?

No, but it seems to be the trend.

When I had my Evanix MAX-ML .45 I removed that section, it makes for a much more comfortable carry and you can actually get that wrist right back there in line with the grip.
