Q:

New for me… a 1377!

I picked up a new Crosman 1377 pistol a few weeks ago.
Scheels Sporting Goods for only $39.95 on sale! (normally $49.95)

Nice gun!!! I had always wanted one of these and I have already made one slight, but very nice mod to it…… I added a rubber pad to the stock to eliminate the annoying CLACK! every time I pump it. Read about that fix on the Yellow Forum and man…. now the gun is even better!!! Hardly makes a sound now as I pump it up.

My new “Little Friend”

A pic of the fix, and the pads used.

Now I am wondering what other mods I should do to it. I have seen some of the things done to these until they no longer look much like the original (much less have many of the original parts left… 😆 )
Maybe at that price, I should have gotten 2 of them, leave one fairly stock, and mod the hell out of the other one. ???? I don’t have a pump or tank, etc. So for now, doing a PCP mod is not really in the picture.

Any suggestions? Let’s see your guns!!!

Rev. I put a steel breech kit on one and a Tasco red dot . I loaned it to a friend and he likes it .It gets the Pigeons off the roof! So I gave it to him to keep. And I went and bought another one and set it up the same.

The gun $54.00,Red Dot$34.00,Steel breech kit $30.00.

I like it this way,I could go bigger . I like to keep it small. low profile.
Hope this helps.
You got a good price on the crosman.
Take care ,Bob

Hands down – get some grips – do it tomorrow! http://www.rbgrips.net/CROSMAN1377.html

To remove the creepy-ness of the trigger, remove the sear and use a stone/emery paper to remove the edges of the contact surface. Polish the rest ever so slightly. Remember you don’t want to remove the thin layer of hardening on the contact surface. Keep testing until the trigger loses the creep AND STOP! 🙂

The sear spring can be lightened a little. Some people cut a coil – others will compress the spring. Careful as you’ll get a gun that doesn’t cock or will fire when dropped.

Don’t forget to put a drop of pellgun oil on the pump head from time to time.

I get 460ft/s with 7gn RWS R10 with 5 pumps – the same as an IZH-46M. At 12 pumps with Kodiaks I can get 5.5 ft/lbs energy.

Congrats!

There is a bit that can be done with the Crosmans…

Fun thing about them is if you get bored with a configuration, you can always change it up.

For a 13xx, keeping it as a pistol, I’d say a steel breech, 14 inch barrel, flat top piston, flat face the valve and add a lighter valve spring… some trigger work, some RB or Ricks grips…. and stick a fork in it.

Depends if you want to keep it a pistol, or turn it into something “other”. 🙂

Flat top piston and valve, pump pin upgrade (solid with e clips), trigger tune and shoe, velocity adjuster, steel breech with extended probe (opinions vary on the probe…I like ’em.) Longer barrels… .22 maybe?

Muzzle brakes, weights, or air strippers…your choice.

AND GRIPS! Don’t forget the grips! 😀

Couple random pics…don’t “do” pumpers much anymore.

And when ya get sick and tired of pumping….use it for parts. 😈
