New frame condor ss trigger travel screws

Exactly ❗ That’s what made my eyes buck when I saw tofaz and roachcreek. Also, after my last post I took notice that RC shoots the Haley .257 and with the power he gets, I eat my hat on that one.

I would have loved to be there when your range buddies’ snickers turned to admiration. The first time I get mine to the range I think I am going to try to set up a camera to catch the others expressions when I let loose. My club has seen a few AF Condors but not a “DNS” Condor. This is going to be fun!!! 😆 😆

Well yes and no but yeah when it comes to an affordable beast that you and I can get are hands on…. We do get alot of bang for our airgun buck with the Airforce Dyotat Guns. We are members of what I believe is the future of recreational shooting sports.
There are other very beautiful Beasts that do what we are looking for but they are the custom built to order bigbore guns, like the Haleys, the Daqs, The Extremes and a few others but many of those guns are purpose built big game killing machines made for the likes,of Marlin Perkins air rifle safari. While they are built to standards one would expect of a similiar fine firearm, they possess accuracy to take game. Hunter accuracy isnt usually sub moa long range precision benchrest type of esoteric shooting that many the average firearm shooters may never get…. So many times I have heard the snickering and incredulous powder burner guys talk when I show up at the range with only an air powered arm. Even been called that airsoft guy….. Yeah they think I bring airsoft to the gun range. Funny how the auto loader guy will pull the trigger from the hip just to burn rounds and not hit the siliouette target at 50 to 75 yrd and I am putting shot after shot after shot into the center of the paper the size of a us quarter all day long at a hundred that it is almost boring with a dyotat .257 Condor! ….:rofl:

I dunno, its an affordable production made in the USA Beast.
You can have a beautiful, sophisticated beast but like anything it comes at a price….. Consider the new 2017 Bugatti Chiron the newest and fastest ever production street legal machine with 1500HP and top speed of 288mph …
If ya have to ask , you cant afford it. I cant afford it, but price tag is estimated to be at 2.5m USD!

I am unsure if Tony carries the “Super Sear” or if it is a product that is exclusive to AoA? EIther way I am sure that Tony is familiar with it and can offer more advice than I can. He probably can get them and install them too…..
I know that I was very disapointed in the AirForce trigger, especially when using stronger and heavier hammer and spring. The new generation trigger was an improvement over the older trigger style but still quite crude. The Airforce trigger system is not exactly a very refined system. Simplicity and affordability is the beauty of the Airforce design. Sophistication not so much….. The trigger “group” reminds me of a series of moustraps that trips one after another…
The SuperSear in my gun was courtesy of Doug when he had my gun for tuning! I am so glad for the installation because it sucked without it. It still is kinda funny trigger system but at least now it is very much more manageble to deal with!
These trigger mods on this gun all seem to work by limiting the travel and catching the sear at the very edge,,,, kinda making it like a hair trigger. you kinda adjust it to where it is light but still offers a enough resistance to give it some crispness…. it is weird system. If you shoot a Maurader with the lawyer spring removed ,,,,,,, well then you are already too spoiled. The AirForce will never replicate a fine target type two stage trigger. Just the nature of the beast.

For that I would have to refer you to Tony at TalonTunes.com, he’s the moderator Anthony on this forum. Not that I have any thing bad to say about AOA but according to several post I have read I would trust Tony at TalonTunes.com more when it comes to mod’ing out the gun. AOA may be OK to buy stock products but I personally have never viewed them a the “Place To Go” for custom modifications, but that IS TalonTunes business and your research will show that he’s “The Man” on custom modifications especially on AirForce brands.

I must point out that I have never done business with Tony personally nor do I know him. However, I have put in several months researching, nearly a year, and either everyone is lying about Tony’s awesomeness or he has them snowed over extremely well. Either way if getting snowed over has been such a great experience for all the people in which I have read their stories, I’m next in line for the snowing. In a couple of weeks I will be contacting him to buy a scope for my new rifle, maybe the Xeon or Xenon I saw that Tony recommended to another member. I will first consult with him to explain my goals because I understand that Tony is good at tailoring his information to suit the needs of the particular shooter. That scope might not be best for my application. What ever the case I will listen to Tony’s advise, do more research and then most likely take his advise as I’m sure it will be spot on. Note, even though I really trust Tony, I will still do my research, there is no substitute for it! At least talking to him first I know more about what the factors are that I need to research.

I might be able to get the scope he suggest a little cheaper somewhere else and maybe not, but what is important to me is to patron someone that believes in excellent customer service and spends much of his time giving back to the Airgun Community, not just living off of it. Speaking of excellent customer service, PyramidAir.com has been touted to have excellent customer service. Again, I have nothing against AOA and am not trying to steer you away from them, I just urge you to do your homework thoroughly. Search the net and YouTube for those you intend on doing business so that you can make the most informed decision for yourself.

onebaddj did some work on his trigger and changed the trigger spring. tofazfou has a Sam Yang tuning that shows this spring on that gun, not sure if it is the same on the Condor. Those are a couple of people to ask, and there’s always dyotat100 and Tony. I would imagine it’s very similar. Apparently the lighter that spring the lighter the trigger weight. This doesn’t actually help with the screw issue but may provide an alternative to accomplish your goal. I do realize the Stage travel and trigger weight are different but with my experience different trigger weights can also affect the feel and therefore may buffer problems with nonadjustable stage travel. It may be worth considering.

Much easier to purchase and install aftermarket Supersear or Supersear II for the newr style frame.
Definately a must have upgrade for precision shooting &.benchrest.
IIRC the setscrew mods require some tiny precise drilling and tapping of some tiny setscrews.
