What’s up fellas. My name is Eric and I’ve been enjoying searching around on this site before picking up an AirForce gun. I run a machine shop in Jacksonville, FL for a valve automation company and already have ideas for putting those machines to work on gun parts lol. I’ll keep you posted when I finally pick up my rifle and on any parts I make.

Get a condor. Quiet backyard shooting is nice, but blowing the hell out of things is much more fun. 🙂

I’ve seen your work on the Blodnob valves, nice machine work!
The grey box on top is a limit switch which is wired into the control room so they can tell whether or not the valve is open/closed remotely. Also serves as a terminal box for the solenoid.
The green part is a pneumatic vane style actuator.
The bottom part is a 2″ SS plug valve
The white piece is a solenoid valve that shuttles air to either port of the actuator allowing it to open/close the valve.

LOL, when you said “auto” I assumed automation.
The SS would be perfect for the backyard target shooting but the Condor sounds like a lot of fun to mod and blow the hell out of stuff. Dunno yet.
We also do valve repairs. Here is a valve stem off an 8″ plug valve I had to make after the customer snapped it and the factory didn’t have one on the shelf for immediate delivery. 17-4ph stainless.
We sell lots of little packages like these, I machine all the bracketry, assemble & calibrate the units before shipping.

Which rifle are you looking to buy?
I fabricate linkages to attach electric and pneumatic actuators to any type of valve imaginable. Lots of couplings for 1/4 turn valves and single and dual start Acme threading for gate & globe valves. Our main customers in this area are Power, Chemical, Paper, plants but we sell to anyone including other valve shops lol.
If you get some good parts out, I may have to stop by and check it out. My grandparents/family lives in fort white, FL, itty bitty town just a little ways from you.

It’s not so cool doing it every day. Plus when I’m done I don’t have anything cool to look at except a valve that will end up in a sewage plant or somehting. I gotta give a lot of credit to the guys posting up all there research on this board, it sounds like the guns are easier to screw up than improve.
