New Guy Needing Help Pyramid Air and Airgunmegastore (SAME?)
Well as a new guy I need some help. I wanted to order an air force Talon SS in .177. Pyramid showed they were on backorder. I did place an order with Pyramid for other items and continues searching for the talon in ,177. Found the airgunmegastore and read very carefully. There were other things that showed backorder but not the Talon SS .177 so I ordered and paid with a credit card. There site says they ship within 24 hours. Well it’s been 2 days and I am thinking they also have them on back order and they are just not going to tell me. I have made 7 phone calls and left messages on the answering machine and no response. I sent many messages and emails also with no response. Today I’m about to order from pyramid air with the intent of just returning the one from the airgunmegastore and I realize they are the same place. Both companies list 18370 South Miles Rd. Warrensville Heights, Ohio 44128 as there address. There phone numbers are also close and even identical in the last 4 digits. (888) 262-4867 for pyramid and 855-386-4867. At this point I am a little worried and upset they will not contact me so I called pyramid air and talked with a customer service rep. (ROSE I think) She is telling me she has never heard of air gun megastore even though it has the same address. I questioned her at length and she even looked it up on the web and said how strange it was. Now what!! I don’t even know if the company is legit. Has anyone heard of them or had dealings with them???

I did contact my credit card and they tried to make contact also. They then called me back and said that they would turn it over to there fraud unit for investigation. They may be totally legit but something is amiss. I was a police officer for 34 years and tried every way I could to contact them. No go! If they are just a drop shipper or something of the sort I would think Pyramid Air would be upset with them using Pyramids address and even the close phone number. Personally I think they are connected with Pyramid and for some reason Pyramid does not want to admit it or publicized. I have and dealt with and will con’t to deal with Pyramid but the “airgunmegastore” has to nice a web site to be a fly by night drop ship send rate store. All tis trouble with having to cancell a credit card and get a new one could have been avoided with one answer. Now, I will have to order a .22 Talon SS as they are in stock. Pellets just a lot more expensive as much plinking as I do.
I did a little on-line research on airgunmegastore.com and as far as I can tell they are just another on-line store selling Pyramyd Air stock. There are several on-line stores selling Pyramyd Air stock. Some items are imported by and distributed by Pyramyd Air and only Pyramyd Air and it’s affiliates. So it pays to deal directly with Pyramyd Air. Their customer service has always been first rate for me and I like their $10 for 10 test so you know you’re getting a good gun. I bought my TalonP from Pyramyd Air plus many other guns and accessories.
Never heard of them.
But a lot of buisness get all of their stock from Pyramid airgun and drop ship from them to their customers and keep nothing in stock.
The next call I would make would be to my credit card company and tell them to stop all charges . I my self have never herd of them.
