Q:

New Laser for .25 Matador

I finally found a laser that I liked at Cabela’s that I mounted on the rail of my new .25 R3 long. I’ve been looking for a laser that wasn’t terribly expensive and this Laserlyte Subcompact V3 is presently on sale for $69.99 and it fits perfectly under the scope on the spare real estate.

This should be killer for the night critters that I need to dispatch and can’t see through the scope at night.

Stopped by Sportsmans Whse today and checked out laser first hand. Nice visible dot all the way across brightly lit store appx 60 yds. They wanted $129.Nope.
Placed one on order for $75 and should have in a few days. Thanks for heads up on this compact little unit.

how big is dot at 20,30,40,50? Ive got room to mount one one a scope mount upside down under scope in front of main rail. Laser should run just above shroud

I’m using a Burris P.E.P.R. 30 mm scope mount. The scope body has close to 1 inch clearance between the body of the scope and the rail.

How high are your scope rings? I’m using medium mounts and my Hawke 30
Variable power adjustment ring is about 1/4″ from picatinny rail. Looks like your close to 1″ away from it.
