After opening the top of the crate and pulling the chip tray out, the first thing I saw was the tailstock sitting loose on top of the ways. I pulled the tailstock out and you can see the damage on the ways. I’m kind of disappointed and I guess I will give Grizzly a call in the morning.
Well, after waiting and waiting I got fed up and went to the trucking terminal this evening and picked the damn thing up myself. By the time I got back UPS had arrived with all of my tooling and QCTP.
Now the next feat is to move that big ass crate out of the truck and onto the garage floor until, then on to the table.
I’ll take some pics as I make progress through the night.
Ohhhhhh shit! I just got the shipping confirmation. That bad boy is on a SAIA truck coming from Springfield, MO. Expected delivery is Wednesday.
Hell yeah, I’m getting anxious now waiting on my shipping confirmation. I already orders a QCTP from CDCO along with some 1/2″ HSS blanks and a few indexable tools, 3MT chuck and I don’t even remember what else! 🙂 I’m not sure how much longer I can wait without freaking out.

that sucks. I just ordered one yesterday.
hopefully I won’t come with any damage.
I thought about driving down to their Muncy, PA warehouse / showroom, to buy it there, after inspection, but the gas, tools, overnight stay would cost too much.
