Q:

New member (well sorta)

Hey whats up guys. I’m new here but I used to post on the TOG a long time ago. I recently picked up a Talon 18″ and thought I should join this forum. Things have been going pretty well for me. I don’t know if anyone remembers but I was just getting started as a professional pilot about 5 years ago and well I have been very lucky. January 2nd I am going to school for the Citation X. So career wise things have been good. Anyway it is cool to seem some of the people that used to be on the TOG.

Cheers,
Dave

I know you are….I was just kidding you. 😉
Seriously, welcome back~ 😀

quote SteveinLA:

Welcome to the madness! 😀 It’s scary to think of a pilot streaking accross the skys whose head is filled with thoughts of that Airwolf MCT, or high pressure compressor. 😉

Or worse muahahahah!!! Seriously though I am a pretty safety minded guy.

And I bring that safety first mentality to my shooting. Of course I safely dispatch crows too!

I love the Airforce products for that!

Well. I think we had a cool thread about jobs. There was one guy who posted photos of his earth mover. It was a really cool big one. I have always liked those machines. So I posted photos of the airplane I was flying at the time. I think part of the discussion was talking about how pilots salaries really weren’t that great. Or at least not as great as people assumed.

I remember the TOG was hacked a bunch of times and then I sold my condor so I stopped checking in to see how things were going.

I am very pleased to find the TAG and a lot of the same great people as before.

Welcome (back). I think I remember you asking about Pilot’s salaries back on TOG?

Welcome!

Sam I didn’t know that! Thanks. Maybe that will help me out during training 😉

Welcome……. !

Welcome to the TAG, I joined after the melt down. I’d like to get behind the yoke of one of those birds. Trivia, did you know that : Arnold Palmer set a speed record with the first Citation-x in September 1997: 473 knots (876 km/h) on a 5,000 km closed course. He also bought the first one off the production line.

Sam 😆
